First, they are both beautiful women and talented actors. A more interesting question would be "which actor did a better job (however you define better) playing the character?" I would have liked to hear people who have seen both versions of the first movie discuss this. I have only seen the american version. I've read the books and felt the american movie did a great job interpreting the books and that Rooney Mara was outstanding. I've heard that Noomi Rapace was also very good.
