It's a funny thing, I have never considered doing that, I often finished what I order when I go out to eat, so it's usually not an issue for me, hmmmm, now I'm thinking... I don't carry a purse or bag so bringing something like that would not be very convenient, of course I know this isn't a matter of convenience, the only time I absolutely have take home is when I go to this one particular Chinese restaurant, the meal I order is always too much for me to eat, I could bring along a container for this restaurant since I know I'll always have leftovers and I know how much it will be each time.
The other reason this would be good for me is we don't have trash pickup, we live in a very rural area, we have to take care of our own trash, we burn the burnables, paper and such, things like plastic and foam are more difficult to deal with, so if I don't have to use the disposable foam container, I don't have to deal with it at home...
