Do you want the Raiders to move back to L.A.?

    L.A. SUCKS!!!!!

  • Stan Rochester - 11 years ago

We don't need a football team here in L.A. We already have USA and UCLA. No need to add the problems of the NFL.

  • Paul Bradford - 11 years ago

Another Angelino here who would rather see the team stay in Oakland. I enjoy the road trips up North for Raider games. Why ruin a good thing?

  • Ann Matsumoto - 11 years ago

Been through the thug element once already. No Raiders please.

  • Ted Aguillar - 11 years ago

I HATE the Traiders, but L.A. doesn't even deserve those losers. L.A. deserves to be NFL-teamless like it has since 1995.

  • Ted Sullivan - 11 years ago

    L.A. Rams=HELL YES!
    L.A. Chargers=HELL YES!
    L.A. Jaguars=YES
    L.A. Panthers=YES
    L.A. Gayders=F**K NO!!!!!

Real Angelinos know what's up. And it ain't the Gayders from up North. Give us a real team.

I have lived in l a when the raiders fans roamed the u s c campus at eight in the morning when marcus allen was reliving his college years by going over the top for a touchdown no one could stop him at the goal line the stadium was full 110.000 thousand cheering for our raiders people who werent there dont know what it was like in the stands kareem magic were all there with the crowd enjoying another raider win l a is where they belong take over l a like in the eighties when you didnt need an extra day to lift the blackout you wont find tickets new stadium new town state of the art no one else will do for them like we will LA RAIDERS FOR LIFE oh yea here in la you dont even see one quarter of any team support like the RAIDERS GET IN LA

  • Davis Raider - 12 years ago

Why do people lie so much about L.A. "still" being a Raider town? PPPPPPPPLLLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! Those days are over. L.A. still has pockets of Raider fans here and there, but it's FAR fron a Raider town. Bring back any team BUT the Raiders.

  • CFL - 12 years ago

    StAy in Oakland!

  • Manny213 - 12 years ago

No other team in the NFL has a fan base like the Raiders, there are more Raiders fans in Southern California than there are in Oakland. They moved from L.A. almost 2 decades ago and the fans are still supporting them by watching on TV, flying or driving to the games in , San Diego or even in other cities. It's time for L.A. to get an NFL team again and the team that makes the most sense in L.A. is the R A I D E R S...
    R A I D E R S.....

its a natural fit for the raiders to relocate in L.A with the 49niners in the north and san diego in the south L.A will be in the central raiders will rise only in L.A it can be any where else

The Raiders are home where they belong!! Hate to break it to you Lost Angeles fans!! Read it from the horses mouth!! Mark Davis in his owns words..." Oakland is my preference, though," he said. "I see us as an urban team, being in a city. I want it to work here. I'd like to stay here.
His personal second choice also is in the Bay Area, the Camp Parks site in Dublin.
So eat your heart out!!! OAKLAND RAIDERS FOR LIFE!!!!

Lets not sugar-coat this: L.A. is a damn joke, and doesn't deserve any team, especially the Raiders. Does anyone really think the NFL is overly-concerned with putting a team in the Hollywood-cesspool that is L.A.? Get real Angelinos, the Raiders ain't ever playing another down in your city limits.

Born in 85 brought up a raider fan will always be a raiders fan got a tattoo of the raiders from my dad but me growing up a LOS ANGELES RAIDERS fan from L.A we have too many fans out here that would sell out a stadium quik. Every where I go I see raider fans all over plus this city of L.A is bigger its time we play off that wack baseball field and let bring the L.A RAIDERS BACK. Raider nation 4 life stay or go ALWAYS WILL BE ARAIDER FAN. (its a nation)

  • Patti Cecilia - 12 years ago

Oakland is home! Get yourself an expansion team.

  • Ron Taylor - 12 years ago

    NEVER SAY L.A.

    'nuff said.

  • bob - 12 years ago

raiders were originated in oakland. the raiders should stay in oakland. if they move theirs going to be lots of disappointed fans. plus, raider games actually fill up. all I'm saying is LA should get off the oakland raiders nuts and get their own team. ill still be an oakland raiders fan at heart, but it won't be the same.

  • phill - 12 years ago

The raiders should stay in oakland because thats where the raiders build thier reputation.L.A should find there own team so the raiders can crush them alongside the chiefs, chargers, broncos and the entire NFL for that matter. If L.A wants a team so bad either get your own or take a team nobody likes (chiefs)RAIDERS BABY!!!!!!

  • Downtown Steve-O - 12 years ago

I live in South Central L.A., and I gotta say that the Raiders should remain up in Oakland. We need our own team.

  • fernando - 12 years ago

hell yea bring them back it will save me a lots of money

  • Liz Roselli - 12 years ago

NEVER to Raiders in L.A. again!

  • Mark Montazer - 12 years ago

No, no, and HELL NO to the Raiders ever considering L.A. again. Go get your two expansion teams, and stop trying to steal everyone else's teams. Just billionaire thieves (Ed Roski-Majestic Reality and Philip Anschultz-AEG) trying to act like rockstars. Forget about the Raiders, get another team L.A.

  • Bren - 12 years ago

I think it's the Raiders time to shine. They should move back to LA reason being as everyone knows in LA there is a good amount of fans and I'm not saying Oakland doesn't. Raider fans will be Raider fans were ever they go. If the people from LA drive or fly to Oakland I don't see why the Oakland fans can't do it for their team. See up in Oakland people go all out with costumes which is great but in all honesty who are the True fans that go out miles and miles to see THE RAIDERS now imagen The Raiders back in LA how much more they would get from LA fans.

BRING RAIDERS BACK TO LA... " Los Angeles Raiders"

  • Reed Fletcher - 12 years ago

I am a huge raiders fan but I am from San Diego and I took a trip up to Oakland this year and it was awesome the fans and everything I would just want them to come to LA because I could go to all of there games besides just a couple and I do think there is enough raider fans out here to support them

  • maddog madsen - 12 years ago

the raiders belong in oakland,,,thats where they started and thats were they should stay...i love the stadium we have now but its probably time for the greatest franchise in pro sports to build a brand new colisium, just do the raider nation a favor and build it in oaktown...
we sold out every game last year...

  • Janet - 12 years ago

I Love the Raiders! Give them a chance for success her. Stability is something the Raiders organization needs to really work on for a successful team. Moving them back and forth isn't stable. They just need to stop worrying about where to put them and more tome focusing on how to prove the team and actually keep one coaching staff for longer than 1 season! I love my Raiders, please don't take them away.

  • Delaware Jim - 12 years ago

Oakland is where the Raiders belong. Revitalize the the area where the stadium is now. You left once and we were called the Traders, now you want to move again? No way , stay where you belong, in Oakland!! We are on the verge of some great things people! STAY IN OAKLAND AND STAY THE OAKLAND RAIDERS!!!!!

  • RAIDERJEFF - 12 years ago

GO OAKLAND RAIDERS! AND STAY OAKLAND RAIDERS!

  • raiderjeff - 12 years ago

Raiders are FROM oakland and should show heart to themselves and their true home fans! they should NOT continue the crazy inconsistency they always have done. Oakland stands for something, it stands for the working class and the underdog. thats why when the raiders first came about they were the underdogs and they showed everyone that they kick ass! On the other hand L.A stands for rich hollywood style people... STAY IN OAKLAND!!! PROVE YOU STAY LOYAL TO YOUR HOME AND TO YOURSELFS!
    GO RAIDERS!

  • Chaos - 12 years ago

This is funny. I love all Raider Fans, as I am a die hard like most of you, but for some of you fans from Oakland to say that things started out well and went downhill in LA when they started to lose.... um..... ahem..... I go to plenty of games up there now a days and have not exactly noticed a huge amount of fans in the stands. That was until last year when the team showed promise. Funny, it took the Organization to give away tickets in their two for one deal for the seats to fill even then. So please, if you want the team to stay in Oakland, don't make senseless comments about the fan base from here or there, because humans are humans. We all spend hard earned money on tickets and most want to go see a winner. The ultimate fan... like me... goes either way. Win Lose or Tie.....

  • Danielle Beckette - 12 years ago

Ah, HELL NAH!!!!! L.A. was lucky the Raiders even gave them that 13 year experiment. Thats been over for over 16 years now. Get your own team. The true, heart, identity, mystique, and soul of the Raiders is in Oakland. Even if they are forced to share a facility with the Whiners, they'll still hail under the moniker of the Oakland Raiders, and still reighn in the Bay Area.

  • Baby Stabler - 12 years ago

The average L.A. sports enthusiast is a fair weather fan that only roots for teams that win. Last time the Raiders were in L.A. everything started off good, but as soon as the Raiders were not a great team, there were tons of empty seats. The L.A. Raider nation is die hard, no doubt, but they know that the Raiders belong in Oakland, and they are not the entirety of the L.A. sports demographic. On top of that, the Oakland Raiders are such a big part of the city's identity, that removing them would crush a whole community. The Raiders, for the first time in a long time, sold out every home game despite going 8-8, mainly due to the fact that the economy and culture of Oakland is on the rise. For many years, Raider tickets were some of the most expensive in the League, in a city that had gone through a terrible couple of decades economically. But with money coming back into the Town, an Oscar nominated movie about our love of sports and being the underdog, and an article in the New York Times that ranked Oakland in the top 5 places to visit in 2012, due to its rivitalized Downtown and night club scene, and Upscale apartments, Oakland needs the Raiders to stay. I hope Mark rewards the most loyal and die hard fans in the league by keeping the Raiders in Oakland and working with the city to build a whole sports village in the 11 square miles of undeveloped land already called "Coliseum Park". Oakland IS Silver and Black, Oakland is the Raiders, and Oakland is the birthplace of the entire Raider Nation.

  • TheStork - 12 years ago

This is ridiculous! I'm from Berkely and I have rooted for the Raiders for 41 years. I remained a fan when they tried L.A. the first time. I made a trip to L.A. each year for a game. The experience just wasn't even close to what it is in Oakland, their rightful birthplace. I appreciate Raider fans from all over the world but Oakland is where they belong. Another move to L.A. would be a horrible decision. Hopefully Mark Davis is smarter than that!

  • Pinky - 12 years ago

The Raiders tried L.A. once before...and it didn't work out.

Of course, there are rumblings on both sides, but the smart money is more than likely on Mark Davis not actually having any intention of moving the team to Southern Cal, but rather using the media to put the city of Oakland on notice to get something done for a new stadium. If Oaktown can't get it done, then hello, Santa Clara. But L.A.? Seriously? The NFL wants sellouts and when the team falls below .500, good luck filling those pricey seats. Hell, that's a big reason why the Rams left back in '95.

The three teams that would make the most sense would be a) The Chargers since they need a new stadium and spent their inaugural year in L.A. b) The Jaguars since Jacksonville should have never been granted a franchise in the first place and can't even fill their stadium when the team is playing well c) The Rams due to their long history in L.A. and the fact they have a very young team, need a new stadium and just hired Jeff Fisher.

In short, keep the Raiders in Oakland where they belong.

Los Angeles can New Jack swing on Oaktown's nutz!

  • Raider Steve of Illinois - 12 years ago

I think it would be great for the Raiders to move back to LA. It will attract alot of good players
in the future. Plus, a stadium built just for the Silver and Black, that's to good to be true. LA is to
big of a city to be without a pro football team. I say it would be great, for LA too. Raiders Rock.

  • Northridge Quake - 12 years ago

January 17, 1994. The Northridge Earthquake. The L.A. Mausoleum had to reduce its seating, and the team still didn't sell out. Mr. Davis had been talking to Oakland & Alameda County folks (former Bd. of Supes Pres. Don Perata, former Supe. Charlie Santana, a former Raiders limited partner (a Fremont builder who doesn't want publicity), and a couple of others, and, after the Northridge Earthquake, decided that the time had finally come to move back to Oakland. In 1989 Al had floated a trial balloon where the Oakland Coliseum had sold out in a very fast two hours for a preseason game against the (then, still called) Houston Oilers, so he knew that the original fan base was still there. He had also heard complaints from Oakland fans who travelled to L.A., regarding the fights, the parking, and Julie's misspelling of "Committment To Excellence". The team has now been around for 52 years, with only 13 in L.A. (25%) and 39 in Oakland (75%). Stay.

  • El Maloso de oakland - 12 years ago

Stay put in oak - town .

  • Nototheraiders Inla - 12 years ago

You've got to be f'n serious! OAKLAND! That's all that needs to be said. I don't give a damn how much $$$ LA has, or how big of a market it is. Oakland is defined by the entire Bay Area, not just the city of Oakland. And a new stadium anywhere in the Bay Area can be prosperous enough. Just ask the Baltimore Ravens. Geez, they built a new stadium in the ghetto, and their franchise worth is in the top 10 of the NFL.

  • Jose Ebert - 12 years ago

Mark Davis thought that bowl haircut was a good idea...all decision making should be removed from his hands, he obviously has no good judgement.

  • Leo - 12 years ago

The raiders have 4 home fields Oakland Frisco San Diego and Arizona which we travel ! Los Angeles the home of most RAIDER!! LA's the place money and fun in the sun! Do you think any other team would sell out LA's new stadium ? LOL... Yeah when THE RAIDER NATION visits ... Be smart Mr Davis The Nation needed this change Build it and they come ;)

  • Larry - 12 years ago

Unlike Al Mark Davis lives most of the year in Palm Desert Ca.I know because I live less than a mile away and see him regularly. If he can convince LA interests that he is here to stay I think it would be great I had season tickets every year they were in LA and was present at LA's only Super Bowl victory! I enjoyed the team and hope they com here-Mark can't be worse than the Spanos family!!!

  • r8erfrankie - 12 years ago

Yes, Los Angeles would look awesome in Silver and Black once again. I'd love to see Raider billboards everywhere in this city. People think that only thugs are Raider fans. Stupid. Yes there was a lot more crime at Raider games in L.A. That's because there was a lot more crime in Los Angeles period from 1982-1994. Not to mention N.W.A rose to prominence wearing the most infamous colors in the world during this time. People still stereotype the Raiders in L.A. because of all of this. The best city in the world needs their team. Let's make it happen.

  • Dewey - 12 years ago

The Raiders belong in LA. Their personality fits that of LA. A ragtag bunch of misfits. They are the perfect match. Colors, persona, mythology. I love the move that Mark Davis made today by hiring old school NFL. Madden is his mentor. All this talk of hoodlumism is crap. All you would have to do is ask and the boyz in the hood would protect the peace. They love the Raiders and that is good. LA is the melting pot of so many people and places. Raiders symbolize that. Plus they got the best uniforms and you know we are all about that! And think about it, if the Raiders were in LA what GREAT player wouldn't want to play for them.!! Come On!

  • Tulisan - 12 years ago

No No No ..it's just not the same .. Listen to this OAKLAND RAIDERS sounds great leave it as is .. True Oakland Raider Fan... Tks

  • Timothy Irvin - 12 years ago

While concern over "Raider Fan" behavior has a basis in past history, I believe two factors can overcome the fears of the people who don't want the Raiders back:

#1 is the belief that the new stadium would effective price much of the "criminal" element out of the stadium. Using the Staples center as an example, Farmers Feild would have very limited seating opportunities for the average "Joe Raider".

#2 is the universal truth of sports...winning cures all. If the Raiders return, and are a winning team. All past sins will be forgiven, and everyone will love them. That's how sports work Charlie Brown!

  • ajk - 12 years ago

The Raiders should stay in Oakland. I attended USC when the Raiders played at the Coliseum and on "home game" Sunday's there were parts of campus you didn't go to (for safety reasons) because of the "scum and villiany" that are Raider fans. Even today, these "displaced" fans are present at Dodgers & Chargers games, creating a very unfriendly environment. There is absolutely no way I would ever risk my family's safety by taking them to a LA Raiders game!!!

  • RaiderFAN - 12 years ago

Raiders will be better off in LA, people travel from SD to see the Raiders in Oakland, LA people travel to see the Raiders in Oakland, there are more Raiders Fan in LA and SD than Oakland has. Plus the Raiders Team is looking at the Future, the future is now. They will benefit with a new start in LA, New owner, new GM, new Coach and a new Stadium in LA. Wont be able to stop the Silver and Black.....

  • Kidster - 12 years ago

I meant to say the Dolts should Not come back becasue they left once already!

  • Kidster - 12 years ago

@The King Then The Dolt should come back to LA either since they left LA before the Raiders!!! The SD Dolts should stay in SD where they belong!

  • LittleRaider - 12 years ago

The Raiders should move to LA if they build New Stadium. All Football stadiums have drunks and fights it's just alcohol not the people. I went to new Dallas and Arizona Stadium and everything is the the same. Southern California fans drive up to Oakland every season and fill some seats up or else it will look like todays A's games. Oakland is worse then South Central and have nothing to do unless you go to SF. Downtown or Industry is cool with me. Do not want the Chargers to come I won't go see them unless they playing the Raiders.

  • The King - 12 years ago

They should stay away from Los Angeles!!! Once a team leaves they shouldn't come back!! Those are the rules, specially a sorry team like the faiders. The Chargers are a better team for L.A.

  • Mr.Bill - 12 years ago

@Black&silver blood...Oakland won one SB while in la...two while in Oakland...learn team history.
Raidas were a great team til the first move to la, then started to slowly go downhill. LA culture did that to the team. The one bowl win was with players from the Oakland days, just in a different city. Once those players left or retired, the glory days were over. The team got soft. Stay in the bay!!!

  • Dave - 12 years ago

God NO!!!! Give us a real team...

  • TONY - 12 years ago

The raiders should stay in Oakland. If that team comes back, the games will be just like they were at the colusium. Drunks fighting amongs eachother, a bunch of douche bags. We have no place in LA for them..or bring them back but change the color scheme on the team and see how fast the low lifes that like the raiders for the colors will go away. Its the thugish look what keeps the low lifes attire. Once you change the colors the low lifes will go away!!

  • Raider Nation - 12 years ago

If the Oakland Raiders move back to L.A u would lose thousands of fans. . . . .the Raiders First home was Oakland and should remain that way. . . .we ain't traiders we Raiders we belong in the bay all day. . . .

  • Michael Cortez - 12 years ago

Oakland cannot afford the Raiders and the Raiders in LA is a perfect fit! Los Angeles has mony and a way better city than Oaktown! Ditch the zero and get with the hero!

  • Jay - 12 years ago

Raiders and 49ers share stadium in Santa Clara. Chargers move to LA, Rams move back to LA to share stadium.
The result is one AFC and one NFC team in NoCal/Socal. Raiders/Chargers rivalry will be kept intact.
49ers/Rams rivalry will be re-born. Two brand new state of the art Football only stadiums in California for 4 teams.

  • OG - 12 years ago

If the Oakland Raiders move to LA, they should still be called Oakland Raiders.

  • Black&silver blood - 12 years ago

The raiders were super bowl champs in LA. not Oakland. I wanna see the LA Raiders get a shot again!

  • JoeyZaZa - 12 years ago

Of course I want the Raiders to stay in LA, but I don't think the 49er's will go for a shared stadium if they can get the funding without Raider help. There is a lot of bad blood between the two. If Oakland can't get a stadium somewhere in the Bay area...I think it would be great for them to come to LA. New owner, new GM, new coach, new direction, new attitude....yes the fan base will probably remain the same, but not all Raider fans are bad. There are a lot of decent fans.

So I say...if Oaktown won't do anything...then the Raiders have every right to move back to LA.

  • Sammie - 12 years ago

Oakland needs to stay in Oakland because that is where the raider nation is born and breeds. They can build the stadium in Santa Clara and share with the 49ers. Besides people do not like Oakland in LA as they perceive to be be. The raidernation belongs in oakland period. Santa Clara would be a nice fit for both teams, LA is just to congested for raidernation fans. Nobody loves Oakland raiders like Oakland.

  • Boo-Yaa - 12 years ago

    @bayard

Your a perfect example of a bandwagon fan!!

  • Ruben Hinojosa - 12 years ago

I the NFL wants to be back in LA. TThe Raiders moving back make the most sense for the division stand point. And for California too a team in in every major city in california.

Makes no sense to move a team from east and screw up the divisions for the league.

  • bayard - 12 years ago

If you can't fill the stadium you have how are you going to pay for a new one? Show us some winning seasons and give us a reason to support the team. AND LEAVE THE TAX PAYER OUT OF THE EQUATION. They have already built to many stadiums that aren't being filled.

  • Michael - 12 years ago

I say yes but will Phil Anshutz be happy with being the minority owner vs being the outright owner of the raiders? Will LA support the Raiders for the simple fact there will not be a cheap seat in the house in this new billion dollar stadium. Us working class folk are already priced out of going to Laker games. But that could be a blessing in disguise. I think People are scared of Raider Fan. I ask have there been any beatings that we have heard of up in Oakland like what happened at dodger stadium ? No. This isn't 1990's when we had NWA promoting gangster rap and every kid on the streets wearing raider gear and causing hovack at the coliseum. Things happen and regardless of what team comes here its not about the team as much as it is about the people who call themselves raider fans and dress in silly regalia and look itemidating to causal observer. I was 11 years old when I started going to raider games I felt it was a rough bunch but the city was different then. I think that this city has grown up some and having the Raiders back would great. Cause who would seriously go to a Jaguars game?

  • Joe - 12 years ago

A move to LA makes NO sense. The only good season they had in LA was with an Oakland team, 1982. In LA, the games never sold out, they never got the Stadium promised (the people of LA never approved of a stadium) and their record was a disappointment to Raider fans everywhere. These are reasons they left LA in the first place. As for money, the owner will make more not the team. What is in it for the fans or the team? A new stadium, there will be a new stadium in Santa Clara in a few years, so that is just an excuse.

Last thing is, the fans in LA change with the weather. They couldn't even keep the RAMS.

  • a - 12 years ago

LA is the second largest city in the US and it deserves a at least one football team, certainly more than SF deserves 2. The best thing for the Raiders would be to move to a new city with their new owner, gm and coach. They practically dont have any draft picks for the next 2 years so ride out the lease at their crappy old stadium while they struggle through those 2 years and then hit restart on the organization in a totally new market where they won't have any cross town rivals and they already have some market penetration from their stint in LA back in the 80's. Also, I think it will be easier to attract the top ranked free agents when based in sunny LA rather than cold foggy SF. Now is the time for them to make their move and every year longer that they wait the worse the deal will end up being for them.

  • Luis Orellana - 12 years ago

I became a Raiders fan when they were here in Los Angeles in the late 80's-early 90's. I was a kid who loved baseball and was a Dodgers fan. I slowly started watching Raiders game's and I remember how much of a fan my uncle was of the Raiders. I became more and more of a fan through my teen years up to this day, where I plan a trip to Oakland every year to watch the Raiders. When I was a kid it was heartbreaking to see them leave and go back to Oakland while the Rams moved to St. Louis. Suddenly Los Angeles was left with no football. I love the Raiders, but a part of me knows they started in Oakland and they went back home in the 90's. It would be awesome to have them back in Los Angeles, but I think they should stay. Now I did vote "yes" in this poll, only because there were only two options. I'm going to let things play out. I'm a Raiders fan regardless of where they play. I love Oakland. I love Los Angeles. Either way, I'll be there rooting for the silver and black.

Oakland, CA Birthplace to The Black Panthers The Hells Angels and The Oakland Raiders!

As a lifelong member of The Raider Nation, I ask you to PLEASE keep the Raiders in Oakland.

Surely an answer can be found in your Hometown!!

49ners all day raiders in la would be doomsday put the rams are

  • Gus - 12 years ago

Maybe with the Raiders in LA, it would lessen the garbage about the Rams moving back to the town which didn't support them when they didn't always have a winning record.

  • skinney - 12 years ago

why should the raiders move they had there chance in L.A this flip floping around is crazy the NFL should tell the raiders sorry but no thanks its only right OAKLAND keep's getting jerked around like that if I was a raider fan and they moved back to L.A I would think I be looking for new team to cheer for.I was in the same boat with N.E pats almost moving to wisconsin.but thank god for the KRAFT FAMILY for saving my pats.so to the RAIDER nation tell the DAVIS FAMILY they need to rethink what they are doing It comes down to this FANS first.

  • NoMoRaiders - 12 years ago

Send the Raiders to South Sacramento, where their values are more acceptable. We don't need their trash in LA or the Bay.

  • rb - 12 years ago

I'm from East Coast and a Panthers fan. New Orleans got my NBA Hornets and I'm pretty much against a pro team moving to another city. If the team can't stay in Oakland for financial reasons then so be it I guess. There will be hard feelings and the hard feelings will be justified in my opinion. I think team owners need to have a bigger stake in their facilities and not rely on taxes to subsidize their bottom line. If the teams can't make on that premise then we need less teams. So no to LA for Raiders and leave the taxing public alone for your bottom line enhancements.

Put all Raider games on pay per view In every Hotel surrounding LA county and in the city!

With Pay per view rights! Do you know how many cable viewers there are In Los Angeles county alone? It has to be one of the biggest markets in the USA. And then on topof that; with every hotel showing the games, on pay per view? Are you kidding ?

Mark Davis would not know what to do with all that money. Well maybe he would ! He grew up as the son of an icon : AL Davis!

Much as I love the Raiders, and love them in Oakland, it's Oakland that doesn't love the Raiders. For the sake of the team and any future it might have, it's time to leave Oakland.

i was a big raiders fan back in the 70's and 80's, that is till they left for L.A., when they returned i was happy for all the fans who wanted them back and wished the raiders well . but i had moved on, by adopting the N.Y. giants back in 1983 and I have not been disapointed . the G- MEN are a great team and i could never give up on them. that being said i do believe a relocation back to L.A. would be a sound move by the raiders organization for the obvious reasons; (new stadium, large market and a fan base all ready in place ). if that becomes impossible for what ever reasons, then another location with the right conditions would also be a fresh start and could only improve the chances for a quicker return to the playoffs and who knows perhaps the superbowl.

People who are fans of the Raiders seem to increasingly use their loyalty as a justification to adopting and accepting anti-social and violent behaviors. This is misguided sense of human values would fit better in Los Angeles.

New stadium..yes, but raiders need to stay in the bay area, east bay, south bay, fans will come. You cant lose your original fan base in the bay.

LA is not a football town. Keep the Raiders back in Oakland or moved them across the bay where fans take football seriously. The Raiders need to build a stadium thats is only for football. Oaklands fan shold not be penalized for its support of the team. If LA wants a team lets them get a new team but the Raiders are part of The Oakland lore.

You can take the Raiders out of Oakland, but you cant take the Oakland fan base from The Raiders. LA bring back the Rams, bring the Jaguars or get a new team just keep of your hands out of the Raiders. La fans are football fans, Oaklands fan are raiders fans...always......

The TV market is huge (top tier) and the opportunities to make money for the Raiders franchise is fresh. I think it would be a great move to start fresh (Mark Davis, new GM, new coach, some new players, new mentality) and bring back the "Just win baby".

The fan base in a move to L.A. without a winning season could not support the financing of it. Fanbase in the current city with a new facility woul be a slam dunk possibly, pricing of course has to be factored in. Many a new facility have empty seats, baseball, basketball etc..Why put the Radiers into a position. Whereby the new facility cost higer pricing, to large market with small fan base as opposed to smaller market with large fan base. Revenue Ads, Networks, printMedia and Tv views that like to hear nosie during the game and not -crickets-A facility with a hotel would be in order , study the Patriots facility success. Build it and they will come.
