i just bought a 1995 BMW 540i 6 speed on craigs list. Has black exterior, tan interior, nice wheels and sounds system. it has 200,xxx miles and he was asking 2500$ I payed 1900$ and love the car. actually bought it because i had a 95 740i and loved my m60b40 yet always wished i had a manual trans let alone a 6 speed! The trans is the best i have ever owned, and one of the best i have ever driven. (i sell/drive cars for a living) its still buttery smooth after 200k miles. never pops out of gear, grinds or fights me at all..

These cars seem to have your back, most BMW drivers will agree that if they got "wasted".
the damn thing drove its self home.. some say the cars that good, like me. while some skeptics say its because there is never a shortage of people who will drive you home just so they can try out your BMW! either way its cool and were to fckdup to know.. really takin the hi road here

SO, it earns its tittle as,.. THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE !

i plan to own/love the car for quite a while before i sell it. i would not let it go for under 4000$ already.( ive had it 3 days )

They're honest cars, keep the old school maintenance up on them and they'll not let you down. This would be a great first car for someone.

I sold this exact car only mine was black and had 225,000 miles on it. Not quite as clean as this one but still ran amazingly well. I still got $3,500 out of mine. Considering the condition and low mileage for a vehicle of this age, this retail price looks fair in my book.
