I thought Simone was just suprised by something hinted at earlier on in the episode upon which she just at that moment received revelation on.

Good food, maybe a live band...a nice walk along the seawall.....perhaps live comedy if someone good is playing...something where we could talk, find out if we have musical intersts in common, and of course, to see if she has a sense of humour! (very imp.) ; - )
