The Supreme Court of Canada has alreadty ruled that there is indeed a Constitutionally protected right to collective bargaining. An obvious and essential extension to that right MUST be the right for workers to withdraw their services in support of their collective bargaining. Justice Ball, in his decision, simply brought this forward. I believe the Supreme Court will follow and support this logic if this ever reaches that level.

MORE money just so the government can say they beat the unions?! Just fix the bad parts of the law and move on, Bradley.

The government already spent who knows how much money to only discover that yes they should of consulted with labour groups before making the decision they made. Now they are going to turn around and appeal the ruling and spend how much more money?????????? Maybe we could take that money and create affordable good housing for all.

This is absolutely scary! After the unions, who's next? The Jews?

I'm all in favour of busting the unions and jailing union members. I would rather give my hard earned tax dollars to a bunch of lawyers who will earn millions working on the government's appeal & court proceedings. After all, these same lawyers that will charge millions of dollars to represent the government in court will surely turn around and donate half the money back to the saskatchewan party for the next election campaign. After re-election, minister of agriculture, Bobby Barnrod can give me my next subsidy out here on the farm!
