I have a question: I met a man named "John" this week. He claimed to "have 2-3 Master's [Degrees]" was "soon to be 'finishing his Ph.d" and to have been "forced to resign as Principal of SCHS making $115,000 yearly" and said he was being used as a "pawn". additionally, because he admitted to theft of $130.00 to purchase narcotic prescription medications, his wife was also in danger of losing her job, as well (he claimed she worked to prepare students for the FCAT). He claimed to live in the same exclusive town (Wellington) and further, in the Aero Club, where several very close friends of mine live. He lives in the Aero Club on $150,000 annually? I don't think so.

He was dressed VERY "white trashy" and did not speak, nor look, as an educated person. He was mostly bald and flabby (he spoke with a twinge of Southern accent, was wearing a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off all the down to the tops of his shorts, had a towel attached somehow to his right arm, and had flip-flops on his feet).
I am wondering if any of this was true. Has Suncoast recently forced a long-term Principal into resigning? There were so many inconsistencies in his story (he was unaware one must "defend one's thesis" for their Ph.D, and many more)I simply had a hard time following it, then I google him, and see nothing re: anything to corroborate any of his story.
I am not a journalist, simply a regular resident of Wellington who happened to run into this seeming lonely man and was curious to know if I (and, everyone, for that matter) was duped.

    Thank you

We need to hold all Principals to the same accountability level as members of the public. Mismanagement of school funds (paid by taxpayers like us) is inappropriate and should be penalized to the full extent of the law. Unethical leadership is displayed here by Dr. Linda Cartilidge!
