What should the Broncos do with Tim Tebow?

I agree with some of these folks. John Elway wasn't great in his first years with the Broncos. I think the Broncos should keep Tim Tebow so that he can grow and learn to be a great QB under the wings of a seasoned and an outstanding QB . Peyton Manning doesn't have a lot of years left, and come on now, what about his health? If Tebow stays, he can learn what it takes to be a great QB which will be a bonus to the Broncos.

Keep Tebow he is a true Bronco and as for Elway, my only question is what happened to you?!

A sad day in Denver. Nothing against Manning, he is a great quarter back, Some of us just like and respect Tim Tebow. He has been treated badly by Elway & Company. He deserved better.

Tim Tebow needs to stay. He played with all his heart for the Broncos, he took us to the playoffs after 6 years. He put God, his teammates, and the Broncos before his physical safety to get the job done and secure a win. He is young. He is humble and I have no doubt, IF he is given the opportunity to play behind Petyon and learn new things. The right thing to do is keep Tim....not throw him under the bus. There are thousands of Tim Tebow fans.....and we will stand by Tim Tebow in this ugly back handed neogations. No hard feelings towards Peyton Manning. Praying John Elway gets it right.

While I know Manning is a great quarterback, let's face it....he's near the end of his career. The media and the Bronco "front office" are presenting this as a great coup, but it is not! It is a sad day for the Broncos and Bronco fans. I just heard he's getting a $90 million contract. They have to be kidding! He'll only play for another 2 or 3 years maximum IF he stays healthy.
On the other hand, we have Tim Tebow who, in my opinion, is the epitome of what a team should look for in a quarterback. He is at the beginning of his career, has awesome athletic talent, is a strong leader, is amazing in his ability to inspire others, is a terrific role model for young and old people alike, has commitment and dedication to his job, and is a good, kind Christian man who lives what he "preaches". His public relations value alone is worth millions to Denver and our state of Colorado! With good coaching and experience, he will be a truly great quarterback!
Why don't they just bring Manning in to coach Tebow and help him develop to his true potential? Then, we fans could look forward to many years of great football and "possible" Super Bowl chances rather than the "instant gratification" of maybe 1 or 2 years of "possible chances"!
We have had season tickets (12 of them) for over 40 years. We were patient with you, Mr. Elway! Why can't you be patient with Tim?! God bless you, Tim and I pray they come to their senses and keep you here!

Yes,Peyton Manning may be good but it was stupid of him to come back. If he gets another neck injury he will most likely be paralized. If the Broncos trade Tebow it will be the worst mistake in NFL history! Manning would get hurt and then they wouldn't have Tebow there to get the job finished. I may only be 13 but I am the BIGGEST Tebow fan ever!!! No matter what happens, I will always be with Tebow and the Broncos can haul off.

  • NOT TEBOW - 12 years ago

BANDWAGGONERS HERE IN DENVER TEBOW IS NOT GOD!!!!! GET REAL PPL THIS IS A BUSINESS AND MAKING TRADES AND SIGNING NEW PPL TO THE ROSTER IS ALL APART OF THE GAME. HEART AND CLASS DON'T WIN FOOTBALL GAMES.Last year was all luck on Tebows behalf. You cant win football games like that constantly. The three ring circus that came last year around Tebow was sickening cant wait for that to leave town!!!!!!!!

John Elway said that Tebow was our guy! What happened to keeping your word!? John, be a man of integrity!!! Tim Tebow is a leader and a man of good character; he is a team player! Elway, you've made a HUGE mistake; there is not going to be the fan base anymore that you thought about. Honestly, I am thinking that John Elway is just plain JEALOUS of Tebow.

  • CSM - 12 years ago

I'd like to see the Broncos keep Tim Tebow. I can't help but wonder how good he would be with mentors of Elway's and Manning's caliber.

  • Jeff - 12 years ago

Keep Tim Tebow and Payton Manning Tim could learn a lot from Manning but think manning is hitting the age of the average QB Retirement, what I am afraid of is if we lose Tebow and Payton Manning is a bust after getting injured. There goes their chances at anything.

  • Jayme - 12 years ago

Keep Tim Tebow! Peyton Manning might be able to throw, but seriously, how long until Peyton is gonna get hurt? He's much older than Tebow and will most likely get injured again. And if the gets traded, the Broncos will lose A LOT of fans. KEEP TIM TEBOW!

You guys have to remember, if we keep Tebow, we will have to make our O-Line run two types of offences, which is waaay to hard to do. We're better off trading Tebow to get a Quarterback that can throw decently ALL THE TIME, NOT JUST PART OF THE TIME. This is great for the Broncos! He's a future Hall of Fame QB! What more do you want? If Tebow really wanted to be a true Bronco, he would change his position to a Full Back. He could be great as one. But, he just hasn't found his team yet, and I doubt he even wants to stay. Most of you guys only give Tebow credit, like when we would win, it was as if he was out there all by himself. Willis McGahee, the Receivers, and our Defense really stepped it up, it wasn't just Tim. Most of the people who want to keep Tebow (Tebow fans, not BRONCO fans) aren't being realistic. It's whats best for the Team so quit acting like Elway stabbed him 40 times in the chest and set his body on fire. You people are impossible...

Peyton Manning is out of shape and will probably get hurt again. Don't trade Tim Tebow! He brought Denver to the playoffs. How many years has it been since thats happened?! Thats what I thought.

  • Pam S - 12 years ago

Ok, so Peyton is a great quarter back, but dam how horrible for Tim, just makes me feel sad for him. He is and always will be a great person, I wish he could stay here in Colorado, but that would not be the best for him. Thanks Elway you just couldn't take it, Tebow was a class act, you never will be.

  • William - 12 years ago

Alot of people are crying about how Tebow is getting the short end of the stick. How do you think Alex Smith feels with the 49ers.He took his team to the NFC Championship game. He is alot better quarterback than Tebow ever will. Now all of ya'll that are crying today about Tebow. When Peyton takes you deep into the playoffs YA'LL WILL BE SAYING TEBOW WHO?Character & class dont win footbal games. You have to have skill and not a one dimensional quaterback.Good luck to both Peyton and TIMMIE BOY!!!!!!!

  • Lee Anne - 12 years ago

I would love to see them keep Tim and let Peyton be his mentor. I do believe Tim can be a great QB given the correct tools & training, IMO. He has been given a raw deal here...back up to Orton who was 1-4 at the beginning of last season, and not much of a QB anyway. Tim came in and took over with little grooming and did a great job for being "green"...
C'mon he took us to the playoffs... Please do good for Tim, make a wise choice here...
Tim has a passion for the game like no other :))

  • Dave - 12 years ago

I think he needs to be traded. Peyton brings the talent to take the Broncos back to the glory they once had. The Broncos are doing what's best for the team, and keeping Tebow here will keep the circus atmosphere alive. Congrats to Elway and Fox for closing the deal.

  • Kathy Wrigley - 12 years ago

John Elway should remeber what it was like when he first started playin for Denver. They should keep Tim and let him learn and grow as that is what the Broncos did for John. Besides they need a good backup for Peyton when he goes down.

  • Dennis Boedewig - 12 years ago

I believe that Tebow brought out the best in all of the Bronco players. Maybe taking the team into the playoffs showed Manning how could a team we could be. Thanks to Tim, we got Manning.

  • Jalyn - 12 years ago

I think it would absolutely ridiculous to get rid of Tim Tebow.....apparently getting your team into the playoffs is a bad thing in John Elway's eyes. I for one support Tim Tebow wherever he goes, because clearly he has heart, and character which the Broncos will be losing if they trade him. Denver needs him. They will majorly regret it if they let him go!! If they say goodbye to Tim Tebow then I will be saying goodbye to the Broncos! I love Tim Tebow!

  • CS - 12 years ago

John Elway wasn't good his first year or two if anyone would care to remember. Mr Manning is not as healthy. Any coach in his right mind would know that. TIM TEBOW has the class and heart that this team needs. I think anyone with a brain should be able to see that. Get him some help. I think our offense and our defense need some major repairs. You think that just having Manning is the answer. Ha Ha. GOD Bless you Tim.

  • Donna - 12 years ago

Finally Tebow has an opportunity to go to a team that appreciates him and his ability and will work with him to make him a great NFL quarterback. Then "John Elway" will get to be known to everyone for what kind of person he really is. Elway's biggest problem is that he could never be the person that Tim Tebow is; and could not stand watching the support Tim was receiving.
Just when the Broncos were regaining some support and enthusiasm along comes Elway and destroys it

  • Nelly - 12 years ago

I hope we keep Tim Tebow too. I don't like what they are doing to him, especially if they trade him. He is a class act that Denver needs.

  • holly - 12 years ago

I for one will not be watching the Bronco's this year as I don't like Peyton Mannning. I think it is awful what they are doing to Tim Tebow! Goodby Bronco's.
