I think they were right to use the save to keep Jessica on the show. She is very good. I just don't approve of how they did it. By running up on the stage and telling America they need to vote for the best showed partiality on the part of the judges. That they would act like that over her and not the other contestants that were voted off is wrong. I think the judges should remain impartial once America starts voting. They should give their thoughts on how the contestant performed and even give criticism, but leave the voting up to the public. Now it seems like the show is fixed.

I THINK THAT IF EVERY FANS OF AMERICAN IDOL WHO WATCHES EVERY WEEK WOULD LOOK BACK AT JESSICA'S PAST PERFORMANCE EVER SINCE SHE STARTED SINGING AT HER YOUNG AGE THEY WILL FIND OUT THAT THIS GIRL HAS A GOD GIVEN TALENT. THIS GIRL CAN SANG! I'M PRETTY MUCH IN AGREEMENT WITH RANDY JACKSON ON HIS COMMENT AS FAR JESSICA BEING" THE BEST SINGER IN AMERICA". HE DIDN'T SAY IN THIS COMPETITION. SO THE COMMENT ABOUT RANDY JACKSON APPOLIGIZING TO OTHER CONTESTANT I DON'T THINK IS NECESSARY. WHO AM I !!!

Its so amazing to see these two beautiful young people that God has blessed with so much incredible talent and they were at the bottom three. people vote for the talent an the richness in these voices, Jessica and Joshua they ove mountains when they sing.

The majority of the people who vote, IMHO, are under 25 and have the time and inclination to vote over and over again for the PERSON they like the best. Unfortunately, this does not mean that the most talented always get the most votes, and that's what happened this week.
The best voices are Jessica's and Joshua's. Hollie is inconsistent and should be the next to go.
The shock of what happened this week may make more viewers vote from here on in, and we'll see who really has the following.

It's so obvious the show is fixed. My son knew someone that worked on the show & they verified that it is, in fact, fixed. What happened last night with Jessica was an instant replay of when Casey was voted off & the cut him off from singing & ran up on stage, etc., etc. Just to create drama to keep the show's ratings up. Jessica is going to do fine in her career. There are record producers just waiting for her to get voted off so they can sign her. Colton will probably win because of his fan base, not because he sings well. Then again, Adam Lambert had a huge fan base & lost. Skylar may win also. I say this not because I like these two, but it's just the way the show chooses who wins. My favorites are Jessica & Joshua, but one of them, or both, will probably go next week.

The judges actually go easy on Hollie with their constructive criticism. They seem to let her down gently--lets not forget Simon Cowell--if he were still on the panel, he'd just shout, "That was awful". How many people did he reduce to tears with his rash judgments? As far as the results, I think it was just a matter of the public voting for who they thought NEEDED votes. This happens every year, a top singer gets voted off because the public thought they didn't need votes. Does anyone remember what happened to Jennifer Hudson?? I never doubted she would have a career because she had a beautiful voice--Jessica too will have a career whether she gets voted off of wins! You don't need to win to get a record contract or be successful. The public vote doesn't always get it right--how many winners were there that are rarely heard from again--Taylor Hicks?? Kris Allen?? Lee DeWyze?? Some of the non-winners have had bigger careers than the winners, i.e., Clay Aiken, Jennifer Hudson, Daughtry, Katherine McPhee, Kellie Pickler and Adam Lambert. So, I'm not worried about those great singers who get voted off--they'll do just fine.

It was insulting to the other contestants for the judge/s; (Randy Jackson) to say that Jessica has the best voice in America..what does that say to the other contestants? They may as well pack up and go home;IF it were left up to the judges! It wasn't and America voted for their favorite and it wasn't Jessica, so she gets another shot at it next week. Jessica should develop her fan base just like all the other contestants, get a litte personality, and act like she is 16.
The judges owe the other contestants a big apology and they should keep their opinion based on the preformace of the night.

Although I agree with the judges saving Jessica, I was ticked off by the initial comment by Steven Tyler when he said they would use their save no matter who! Really?! If Hollie was on the bottom, I'm sure they wouldn't have! They continue to beat her up every week and the poor girl has no confidence left! They try to make her feel better by telling her how pretty she looks and how nice her clothes are! No singer wants to hear that! This should be a wake up call to them that maybe they (the judges) really don't know what they are talking about!!!
