I hope he does get a new day in court so his drunk driving lands him in jail for 20- life he's a drunk driving scumbag and need to pay the price for his crime....

He was convicted! Get over it and move on. I think anyone with 1/2 a brain would agree that he drank 3 to 4 drinks pryor and then ran a stop sign crashing his bently into Wilsons car,left the scene, waited an hour to call 911,which means he failed to render aid! He knew he hit a car,911 tapes confirm that! I doubt he could have saved Scott Wilsons life if he saw the car in the canal but would have gotten to call 911 sooner if he stayed at the scene.Tired of people trying to turn this into something more then it is!

The judge wasted our time. Everyone is entitled to a fair trial. Dan, you want Goodman to "pay up"? He did - $40 million dollars (the single largest wrongful death suit in history). Wake up guys, you want to see things a certain way so badly (mainly because the Palm Beach Post tells you that's how they are) that you can't even see fact. This jury clearly screwed up - then juror went to the court to report it and they conveniently ignored her so she went to Black. This is all documented / factual / not "some ploy" as the PBP alleges.

Whatever happened to a court system that wouldn't even allow a waste of time like this? The defense that The Venerable Mr. Black presented was ridiculous and insulting to anyone with a brain. I really liked the idea that Goody was racing for a Wendy's "Frostee" and had no idea of what he hit that would total a Bentley

roy black has to earn a living at our expense.
i think our legal system should hold lawyers to a much higher standard of ethics.
lawyers "throw it against the wall" tactics has corrupted our legal system and costs the taxpayers endlessly.
i think obama should get black to defend the obamacare case.
