Colton dixon is my entire life. I cried for a week straight after he got voted off and i will never watch american idol ever again because of that. He has inspired me soo much. He gave me a reason to start singing again. He means everything to me. I love him sooo much

I was so disappointed to see Colton get voted off, and I still can't belive it. He was my favorite and still is. I think he is very talented and will go far. I think it was a big mistake using the save for Jessica last week because of the way they went about it. I don't think I wll be watching Anerican Idol any more because I now think it is all about what the judges want and not the public.

Whoever said american idol is a joke...well...ur a joke!!!! colton should have stayed! The judges used their save on jessica, and so when it was colton's time, they were useless!!! that's exactly what happened with pia!!!!!!!! he was not just ok! when u watch him sing, its like...i cant even describe it! america made a horrible mistake with the voting and the judges made a even more horrible mistake with the save!!!! wasteful...that's what it is.....

What a mistake. He is definitely won of the best singers on the show. He can sing and a performer. I always felt he touched my heart and communicated his passion of the song. I really think Holly and Elise have consistently not been able to do that, to mechanical. Big mistake but he will be very successful anyway.

Colton was one of the best singers on the show and a good performer, but Wednesday night he looked terrible ( Thursday he looked much better), and his song choice was unfortunate. I thought Elise would go and was surprised at the outcome.
Schuyler is picking up support and I look for her to be in the final 3 with Phillip and Joshua.
Everyone is so good that if anyone screws up one performance they will be out.

I was so shocked to hear Colton go home. I wanted to rewind it and hope that it was a mistake. But maybe this way, he will be seen and picked up faster. He has amazing talent and will go far!!! But I honestly think he should have stayed and made the top 3 for sure. He has originality and knows what type of an artist he wants to be. That is all very important. But I wish him good luck and to never give up.

I am really upset that Colton got voted out. Though each and every contestant is great, he stands out! He's an amazing artist with an excellent voice! To all, we should vote for the ONE, who, after the contest, can face the world with pride and no hesitations that he/she is the REAL AMERICAN IDOL, not just because he/she has lots of friends and all, who can vote for him/her. Next elimination, hope we won't be this SHOCKED again.

Colton was one of the best...He was my favorite....I feel that the judges have to have more say in the elimination process. The botton two or three should have to sing for thier lives and the judges should have final say. So you think you can dance has this format and it works.. Year after year the wrong ones go home.

I am shocked and disappointed at Colton's elimination. I sincerely hope he'll feel deep in his heart that the elimination is just a count of mostly lay votes, a mere number that has nothing to do with his talent. 20 million additional votes last night had to cause an impact on the results. I was hoping to see Colton in the finals. Judging from your talent, you deserved it. Colton is the main reason for us to watch American Idol. And I can tell you how contemporary he is to be able reach the hearts of a seven year old to a 50 years old's. I can't wait to buy his records. Colton, we share your sadness with you. You're so unique. Please be true to yourself and keep on with your career now that you've had the exposure you deserve. Millions of us appreciate you and want you to be successful.

Colton is cute; but not exceptional the way that Jessica and Joshua (or even Elise ) are. It will be easy to find someone who can sing just like him (or Skylar or Hollie). Sorry but Philips contorted facial expressions are not appealing to me. Difficult to find another Jessica or Joshua. Many professionals are in awe of Jessica. I do not think it was a pity vote.

I think at this point, if you have a bad week, you go home. I knew Colton would get the boot this week. Sanchez got the pitty vote from America, and I don't think she'll win in the end, regardless of her talent. I believe Phillip, Joshua& I know it's hard to see now, but Elise Testone could make the final 3. Don't count her out..she's got chops& if she plays her cards right she'll earn her way to the top. She's got skills that we have yet to see...her fans are there, and if she pulls off more performances like her Zeplin night-she could take it ALL, the people who vote based on each particular night...if Elise keeps the momentum, they will vote to keep her. She could shock us all. Skylar is a star, but she will get the "boot" soon, but Hollie is next to go, unless she has some incredible boost in her fanbase. This is a hard group to judge. They are all good. My prediction is Phillip to win, and Elise or Josh to be next to him. I'm hoping it's Elise. I like a dark horse...those 3 also have talent and more years on the others. I like maturity, but I'm not a teeny bopper either, so maybe my age has to do with my personal opinion. I wish them all the best.

I think it was totally unfair. Colton wasn't making it through because of his looks, he has true star quality and talent. I think there is something fishy going on, you could see it in Jennifer's face that she didn't want him to go. He could have gone places in the show, but he'll go to even better places elsewhere :) I'm sad he's gone but I know this isn't the end for him
