Colton is very talented. He just has to relate to a larger audience. It is the beginning of his music career, so selling music that people can relate to and that sells is the key. I will definitely buy his CD when it comes out. I just bought Broken Hearts from iTunes just because of Colton's vocals; the voice is so sincere that it makes me what to go rescue Colton because of his broken heart. Colton, if you read this, you can do great things with your voice; do not quit; you are amazing. I hope you will write the songs, as you said, until your fingers bleed. Maybe you will be on Jay Leno's show or will sing on Ryan Seacrest's radio show that would be great!

Woah, why so many people saying he should have gone home?! He was definitely the best! And not even just the best this season, but the best EVER on the show! He's totally unique and unafraid to be himself. He knows exactly who he wants to be, and he's not going to let anyone change that. So sad that people didn't vote. He is so much more talented than certain overrated contestants.... Not going to "name names" but...

Colton, Philip and Elise are the only ones with unique artistic ability. Jessica has a great voice, but brings nothing unique to the table. What a shame Colton went home.

America Idol won't be any more fun this year. I've lost interest. Colton was so entertaining, and not afraid to be himself. He has a wonderful voice, had flair, and seemed to care about everyone!

Colton was so refreshing to watch and listen to each and every week. He is the only one I would truly call an artist. Colton should have been in the finals and shame on America for not picking up their phones to vote for him. The show will definately not be the same without him. Watch for him in the near future, I expect great things from him. He will absolutely be big!!!!!!!!

I know Colton will go far but it was his devotion to GOD that did him in. The producers wasnt happy that you were so outgoing on it and the anti chrotian crowd voted you out. Jessica is a great singer but she still has alot to learn in entertainmment. Skylar has that in a bag and the only complaint on her I have wear better clothes! Girl you are short and still have some baby fat girl wear clothes that make you look taller and slimmer . GO SKYLAR!!!!!!!!!

Colton Dixon should not have went home.. He is very unique and was certainly consistent every week. Has anyone really been watching? Jessica should have went home last week. She is not American Idol material. Don't get me wrong .. she has a great voice, however she did not deserve to go on in my opinion. There is just something that is "non-entertaining" about her. I believe Colton will make a name for himself. Looking forward to purchasing his music !!!

Last year I voted for Lauren..Its the girls who vote and usually they vote for the guys...
I look at it as who is the best and this year its Jessica...If Phil comes in second both should make it big...AMH
