Would Barcelona FC or Real Madrid be able to win the league title in England?

Man U are (regarded as) the best team in English football with Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal let alone Liverpool perhaps trying to join the discussion recently. We hv seen and continue to see Man U destroy teams week in, week out in the EPL, it is so predictable that makes it irrelevant to watch any game that features Man U. Even with horrible performances Man U leaves the field with maximum points which essentially ilustrates the weakeness of the EPL,."Small" teams just can't pick points against Man U no matter how hard they try, only on very few occasions we might witness a shock but hardly. Now for Man U to be literally crushed by Barcelona every time they meet speaks for itself that Barcelona and Real Madrid would surely swallow the EPL with ease. EPL teams just can't get past Spanish oppositions, Man U couldn't even beat Atletic Bilbao, Chelsea suffered a nightmare against Atletic Madrid, it is so obvious that the physical and speedy approach of EPL can never match the technical and silky approach of La Liga. For the English style to win a match against a different league side they hv to use Extra-Ultra-Defensive approach, that way they may hv a sniff, jst like Chelsea did against Barcelona and Bayern Munich, cuz if they play the way football is supposed to be played they'll get massively picked up that could even cause some brain demage to their players. Man City couldnt even get past Sporting Lisbon and that was, again, becuz Portugal teams are no much different to Spanish teams in terms of style. So Barca and Real Madrid will kill EPL teams like a hungry lion no doubt, if the top 4 in the EPL are dismantling the others and they can't even come close to La Liga teams what woud the top 2 in La Liga do to them?! OBLITERATE THEM. So all in all English teams are well overrated

this is the most dumbest artical i have ever read!!! all you have to look at is the CL and the Europian league out of 8 teams 5 are spanish teams Man U and Man city did not even get out of there group and Man U was dominated by Atletico Bil. i dont know what you ppl are talking about, as far as Chelsea they just got so lucky Messi hits the cross bar and we wont even be haveing this conversation. If you think Barca or Real wont be champions in the EPL how about Man U or any of the English teams in La Liga...I DONT THINK SOOOOO none have a chance

What a dumb article. Chelsea had to play a totally un "EPL" style of play to have a chance against Barca and Barca could have easily won both games based on the flow of play . Nobody can play barca in an open attacking game (except possibly Madrid right now). How quickly we forget how ManU were crushed in last years CL final. Barca's game can become dull because even in Laliga the formula to beat them is to "defensive hack and counter attack", and it is not pretty football and slows barcas attacking game. Last time I looked the "rest" of laliga did fine in the Europa league, that is how good both real madrid and barca are at the moment. Cudos to both Chelsea and Bayern both underdogs found a way to win. A couple of losses by Barca playing at the highest level in both competitions and you with think they would struggle to make it out of relegation in the EPL.

What stupid comments, the champions league and the Europa league are knockout competitions luck plays a huge part in progression, from the draw to suspensions etc the premier league is THE football league, no other league produces the drama and entertainment th EPL creates for its players and supporters. The second tier championship in England attracts more supporters than the bundesliga or the French premier league let alone how many fans watch the top tier in person or on tv around the world, the game is played at a pace most foreign imports struggle to acclimatise to for the first year it is technically excellent and exciting to watch most definitely not kick and run conniving time wasters beating each other to a pulp, with the exception of Messi every top European footballer has admitted they would love to test themselves in England and most probably will at some stage. This season alone the EPL has seen Man United beat Arsenal 8-2 then lose 6-1 to Man City, Arsenal putting 5 past Chelsea and Tottenham, Tottenham putting 5 past Newcastle and so many twists and turns in the title race it will go to the last few games, not to mention the race for Champions League places! Spain loses its challenge for its own players, David Silva, Mata and Aguero were all able to sign for a top Spanish club but chose to come to. England with great success. I love watching Barca but when Messi is off form they don't perform, Chelsea and Real proved that this week, Real are physical and I think they would cope with the rigours of the EPL and would figure in any title battle but as we have seen with Arsenal over the years being a pretty one trick pony doesn't win trophies in the uk buuuuut Arsenal are still seeded in the Champions League! I'd say Barca would burn out over the course of a EPL season due to the non-existent winter break and the weakness of there squad...Cuenca, Thiago &Tello wouldnt cut it for a few years yet...Romeu is proof that great prospect doesn't translate into setting the EPL on fire, saying this, Real would win it or come very close, Jose has way more strings to his bow than Pep and has proved himself time and time again

Bravo Oscar! ur nailed it! This is the biggest joke of a colum that Ive ever seen! If primier teams are so battle-hardened why have they not been able to beat barca for four years!! To compare any primier team to Barca or Real is laughable. The limeys have no concept of sportsmanship and zero true skill on the ball. They most often rely on blind luck in big situations, doing nothing but trying to waste time, disrupting play(rather than creating it themselves) and just kicking the ball as hard as you can towards the opponents side in the hopes that the ball may fall to the feet of the only player resembling an attacker that they have on the field for a sloppy goal.... theyre' teams can complete as many passes between all of them as Xavi does by himself in a single game. If that is the kind of game people want to watch have fun, you'll be in for some boiring, sloppy shyte and you deserve it! Stay away while people who actually appreciate the GAME for what it is/can be get to enjoy the greatest assembly of men to ever play at the greatest CLUB ever created!!

I personally enjoy the Premier League more than I enjoy La Liga, but Real Madrid and Barcelona are no doubt on another level than all the English teams. In the Champions League, Manchester United and City both failed to advance past the group stages and they are leading the Premier League. Over in the Europa League, there are 3 Spanish teams in the semi finals and in the Champions League there was 2. Spanish teams are dominating European competition and Real Madrid and Barcelona are to thank for this because they have made the rest of the Spanish teams more competitive. However, Real Madrid and Barcelona are still on a whole another level.
