The mission of the occupy movement is to sell ideas. Often occupy people are motivated by demonstrations and an exciting group identity without a single thought as to what the real mission is. While this is great fun and and a great show of passion, in order to sell ideas to the rest of us the occupy movement needs to check its cultural bias so that it can reach out to others and it needs to stick to message. That's what they said about us during the anti-war movement in the 60's and 70's. It was no joke...we had a huge influence as the movement grew. Some of us ridicule when we have nothing of substance to say. Ignorance is ignorance. We need to want to understand before we can.
