I think that Donald (the football player) and PETA should have been the ones eliminated. Maria and Derek didn't deserve to be cut; she was too good. I believe that Katherine and her partner were the best dancers and the small mistake at the end of the dance mistake was made by mark who dropped his support of Katherine's body. Even though I'm sad to see Maria go (she was an excellent dancer), I still want to see Katherine win because I think she and Mark are the best Dancers. They should get rid of that Older judge Len as he could not bring himself to give a vote to his countrywoman Katherine no matter what; probably because he feared he would be criticized as being prejudicial for voting for a fellow Brit (Wales). They should get rid of him as he is just on ogre on the program. DMS

Wow! What a shocker it was for Maria & Derek to be given the "shaft". DWTS, as far as I'm concerned, has turned into a popularity contest rather then a dance contest. I think the dancers should be judged strictly by people in the profession and NOT fans .

I also think that some voters think Derek has won too many times and they purposely don't vote for him, but he is hands down the most incredible correographer and dancer. He always makes his dancing partner grow and become great every season. Maria I feel grew the most and their dances were deservedly the best. They should have won the whole thing. I agree there should be the dance off until the last 3. Totally disgusted they are gone.

Maria & Derek should be allowed to dance in the finals!!! They were the best on Monday night and Kathrine fell and should have been scored lower. At this stage of the game Kathrine should have been the one to be kicked off. I think I'm done watching dancing with the stars this year. Maria could have won the competition, she was that good and Derek had great coreography!! I had them picked to win!!

I actually was afraid they would leave as soon as Catherine was saved.
Personally I wanted William to go.Just wasnt crazy about him and Cheryl.Oh well.No one left to cheer on.Donald wasnt all that bad.Most sports people do pretty well on this show.

A lot of garbage. Tell me please, why in the world do the judges award points for what they perceive as the best couple. These judges points seem to be totally meaningless. This is not the first time this season that the leader was eliminated. Perhaps a system should be employed that gives the judges points more weight. Maria and Derek should NOT have been sent home.

All the kissing and hugging, flirting, etc. was a bit much from Maria.Dereck was doing this also. In my view this public display pretty much destroyed the desireable effects of some of the classical dances. Making out should have been saved for after the show. I am turned off by this and I chose to watch a program which I have enjoyed in the past.

I was shocked! Maria was definitely a contender to win. Something needs to be done about stars who clearly should be in the running (and those who stay on way too long, as in the past).
* Maybe the judges need to be harder on their scoring
* Judges seem to handle some of the stars with gloves (no, they don't have to to be ugly, but be honest)
* When only a few weeks left, keep having a final dance between the bottom two in jeopardy (as was done on two of this season's episodes)
* The audience needs to vote on performance, not on who is their favorite star

I have been dividing my votes between Maria and Catherine since the beginning. I expected to see Donald and Peta go last night. I guess there must have been more football fans voting. All four couples were great but I never expected Maria and Derek to NOT make it to the finals. They so deserved it. I am very disappointed but she took it like a Lady and a winner. Very gracious!!!

I think all 4 remaining couples were great; however, I expected Peta and Donald to be voted off. I guess it's all the football players and their fans.

Although I really liked all four remaining couples, I'm afraid that Katherine and Mark got a huge 'sympathy vote' after she was supposedly injured and visibly upset. That plays on people's emotions - and I'm betting that had that not happened, someone else would have been eliminated rather than Maria and Derek.

I HAVE WATCHED DANCING WITH THE STARS SINCE THE BEGINNING. THIS IS NOW MAKES ME WONDER ABOUT THE AUTHENTICITY OFIT ALL, REMINDS ME OF THE TIME THAT BRISTOL PALIN, WHO COULD NOT DANCE TO SAVE HER LIFE WAS ON FOR SUCH A LONG TIME. I AM WONDERING IF I WANT TO CONTINUE WATCHING DANCING WITH THE STAR.
