Malta was far better than Albania, should have been in the top 5...I think Sweden was not a surprise as the record has been out for a while now,so people are familiar with the tune, they had heavy support. The Russian grannies were Awesome and wouldn't have minded them winning.. not because of talent just for having the guts and entering..Also, for Russia selecting them to represent..must have been after a lot of vodka..:) After the top 2, personally, I don't agree with the rest of it. It seems more tactical and political influenced voting, rather than about talent. Lithuania, Ukraine and Malta had good songs. Then you had Romania and Greece who were fun to watch. The good news is, Sweden won and can afford to host it next year. I'm sure they will not be knocking down homes and making their people homeless for the sake of entertainment like this years host. Europe is financially struggling and I think these shows are a waste of public funding. The money could be better utilised to help out those that are starving,homeless, unemployed, improve care for our health system, elderly and education for our children. How can a 12 year old boy of the president own a $44 million dollar hotel in Dubai? He has never worked a day in his life, barely out of nappies...where is all this money coming from? Idiot tax payers like me. Europe needs to stop wasting money, stealing from hard working people and then hosting events that eat even more into everyones pockets. We the people fund these events and deserve for the system to not misuse our money. The host country was very corrupt this year, the president ensured he hired the majority of his family to host and even perform on the show to put the money straight back into their pockets.. Greed and stupidly combined are more harmful than wickedness...think outside of the box...
