LT was a great running back who put his team on his shoulders in his early years, without a great supporting cast to support him and he put up some great numbers and had an awesome style and determination to win. He was a tremendous threat to take it all the way on any occasion, probably has to be one of the best backs ever catching the ball out of the backfield, a truly multifaceted RB that changed the position or just being a RB running the ball. He was a lot like Emmit, but when you rank he was as fun to watch with the ball in his hands, as Walter, Barry, Emmit, Sayers, they all could just leave players standing in there shoes. Got a throw old Leroy Kelly there, remember how the man could stop on a dime and watch a player go by. He definitely brings up these guys in my mind which definitely supports a top 5 vote Id lean more towards top 3.

How anyone could vote for "Should not be mentioned among all-time greats" is beyond me. Regardless of your feelings for him or his team, he certainly belongs in any conversation about all time greats at the position. Anyone that doesn't see that has ZERO clue about football and the NFL.

Smith, Brown, Sanders, LT, and Dickerson would have to be my top 5

Sanders, Brown, LT. LT was almost as elusive as Sanders. Brown was a beast. Give these 3 guys the O line Smith had & they'd rush for 25k.

Brown, Sayers, Sanders, Simpson and Dickerson are the top five. (always starts with Jim Brown)
