Adam wants to do it, so I want him to do it. Plus it would be great money for him that he deserves.

I already drive those around me crazy with my Adam obsession - can't imagine what it would be like to look at him twice a week for several weeks. Just thinking about it sends me into a very very nice fantasy. Oooohhhh.............Yes.........Anyway..... If Adam wants to do it, then I'm all for it. BUT I also want him to be able to make music and tour. I do think he would give honest constructive feedback to the contestants.........more so than Steven or JLo did. I agree that the U.S. needs to embrace him more so it could give him more exposure. He's a SUPERSTAR no matter what so whatever makes him happy makes me happy.

I would hate to see him sit there in the beginning having to listen and watch some of those horrible people that show up. He would be extremely helpful to those who have talent. If it is a dream of his, then I'm sure he will be wonderful. He could try it for one season and see how it goes.

I believe Adam has seen how being an idol judge has revived both Steven Tyler and J-Lo's music careers. I would love knowing that I could see an hour of Adam each week for several months. I also could not stand for this to take away from his recording and touring. Of course, Adam seems to be able to juggle things that would break most others. He also has a touch of magic in him that tends to make everything that he desires bring unbelievable results so I can see him taking American Idol to higher heights than anyone could ever imagine. Okay, conflicted is how I seem to feel but confident that whatever Adam decides will be AWESOME!

It is only a few months out of the year which would free him up to tour and do other things plus he would be making so much money, too. As a fan, the idea of seeing him on TV, twice a week, is a major plus. The fact that he has been the only contestant to ever be asked back to mentor speaks volumes as to how the powers that be over there feel about him. He would be a great asset to the show and I think it would do wonders for his career, too. However, if he isn't asked to be a judge, than that is o.k., he is doing amazing without that gig.

if adam wants it, then i want it for him. anything he wants. secret weapon for gay rights: who, watching him week after week on idol, could resist his incredible personality....and oh, yes, i "forgot", his gorgeousness, each week, a new outfit.......i want him to tour also, but IF he wants this, it would mean many millions for him, which would be great for him to have. i want him to have them. and more fans. many more fans. many more.

I chose "I am so conflicted" because I AM... So many people still diss that show, in spite of even having had Steven Tyler as a Judge...I am merely afraid it would just be more ammo for the gay-haters to blast Adam with...

This is a tough one! 'Hell no' is my first response as I reckon ADAM has far too much
happening for him to be confined by AI. (True, he will have constant access to homes in the US and all over the world (as AI is shown in many countries), and lord knows the US especially need to embrace ADAM a whole heap more. His more than qualified to judge, infact
more so than many others already hitting the show, and he cares and loves music with a
passion.) BUT unless there's major massive benefits plus $$$$$$$$$ attached to the job, which we as outsiders aren't aware of, then it could be to he's advantage. It could re-route ADAM to gain acceptance and love from the American public skyrocketing him to Superstardom (which he already is doing overseas right now). Plus I'd like to see Seacrest at ADAMs command!... This aside though....I reckon 'hell no' stands as I personally think AI is in the past, been there done that, but with reasons listed above anything is possible.

Adam wants it. I want it.

I voted Hell Yeah!!! If he would love the opportunity, why not back him up 110%? It doesn't mean he'll stop singing and performing if he's a judge... If anything, being in the public in front of millions of viewers every week will only help his notoriety.

....and he you know if Adam wants to do it, he has my support :)

Anytime 20 million people see you on tv, is not a bad thing.

  • Lauren - 12 years ago

I voted no because I don't want him to go down with what might be a sinking ship.

I heard Adam say that he'd love to if he were asked so I say Hell Ya........If he wants to then who am I to judge!!!!
And by the way I'd love to see Adam on my T.V. during Idol season just being himself & saying words...... can listen to that voice in any way form or fashion!! ;-)

I voted Hell No !! He's past idol and doing so well. What would help his career best. I personally think keep goin and show the world who you are and keep giving suggestions for the things we need to change here . He could be the big influnce on changes we so desperatly need in this world. Idol contestants get there suggestions to help them. They don't need the best Idol that came along to give them tips. He was so talented before Idol and didn't need many suggestions. He sure found himself and will always be number one to me. Not meaning this to offend people but they should just take Idol off now. WE FOUND THE WINNER BY FAR

I should probably have gone with "conflicted", but I voted "Hell No" for the same reasons I wouldn't want Adam to give up his career to be the new front-man for Queen. He's doing what he should be doing. And he's already said how much he works at his career now. Would he be able to handle Idol and keep his music career going? Would we get a Trespassing tour if he took this job? And finally, would Adam become another Paula? That's a real possibility. Adam is sincerely sympathetic to these contestants and may find it really tough to be tough.

Adam is AMAZING, his albums, live performances, meeting him in person. The guy is above and beyond....................a really nice person with amazing talent and so articulate that he could actually give constructive criticism to contestants that might actually help them and in turn help the ailing show. I could watch him perform for hours and listen to him talk just as long. One hellofa great pic if you ask me. HOWEVER, if he can not do AI and prepare to a worldwide and statewide TRESPASSING tour than just forget it...........we WANT A TRESPASSING TOUR ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please :-)
