Absolutly they should be allowed to carry and protect themselves. The second amendment applies to all. Having taught concealed carry classes in this state for years, I'm surprised there hasn't been more safety awareness on our campuses. However, knowing fully well the ultra liberal indoctrination our students get here, there is little chance for them to learn the real threat level out there. So long as they learn all of the laws and responsibilities that apply to concealed carry, there should be no boundaries. Everyone, not only students, should consider concealed carry and home defense

If they qualify for a CCP, then there is no reason to not allow state licensed students to carry concealed firearms on campus. Certainly better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Think of all the live that could have been saved at Virginia Tech. and the other college shootings had one responsible armed person been there!
