I'm so confused! Is gavin the REAL Gavin or Dazen who is acting as Gavin since he is considered Gavin to others?

I vote for the Gavin we were first introdcued to in the book, by which I mean I actually voted for Dazen. Or has he been pretending for so long that he's now considered Gavin?

Why was there no "All of the above" option? I love your writing style and enjoy watching(well...reading) the characters bounce off/interact with each other. Although tbh I'm expecting that at some point during the second book I'm going to have to play Mulan's "Make a Man out of you" for a couple of Kip's chapters.
poor andross not getting a vote lol been a while since i read this book, about to go back and re read it. Dazen is ofcourse my favorite but gavin has quite of bit of litterary symmetry that im a big fan of, well they both do but i digress. Darby (SPOILER ALERT) Gavin is the one caged up. The thing im really excited to read about is that knife (but i voted Dazen) Brent your second book in this series is appropriatly named for my interest lol. When i read the Night Angel Trilogy i had bought the box set a few days after its release. My friend said, "Why not just by the first book and go from there?" I said to him shut your pie whole, i'm gonna love it, and i did. I read it from cover to cover in days, the fastest i have read any book. I forced all of my friends to read it, doteing on your comedic style, and your characters being similar to my own. Everyone of those friends have now bought the box set for themselves since then, and plenty of them not avid readers. One day when i finally finish my book (god willing) your going to be in my aknowledgments. I wish you fame and fortune Brent Weeks.
