What would you be willing to do, individually, among neighbors or even at the state or local level to preserve biodiversity? Select as many choices as you like. (Poll Closed)
I am too busy to get involved.
I am willing to help, but would not be willing to spend a lot of money on this issue.
Other personal and/or societal issues are more important to me.
I think much of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is misguided. Biodiversity is not an important issue.
Biodiversity is important, but we don’t need CBD. Private initiative and domestic U.S. policy are sufficient to address this issue.
I am willing to change my personal behavior, e.g., eat less meat, eat more organic and sustainable foods, use native plants in my garden and not use pesticides on my lawn, drive less, etc.
I want to learn more about biodiversity through reading, documentaries, and local events (e.g., lectures at the university or programs at the museum or zoo).
I am willing to participate in education and outreach, for example, in schools or through community groups.
I am willing to participate in a project that directly impacts biodiversity (e.g., preserving or restoring a natural area).
I am willing to actively support policies that aim to preserve biodiversity.
I am willing to initiate or lead education or outreach activities, for example, in schools or through community groups.
