    I bought this car,
from the person that bought it from the add, the Weber's were bad not Weber, needed a major tune up, the shifting was bad bolt in backwards on the linkage,,, the floor has rotted out on the drivers side, the hole in the hood was because the linkage was set up poorly, , so far I have replaced the Weber, , the drivers floor, re moved and reinstalled the seat upholstery, removed fuel cell and put in gas tank, removed the electric fuel pump and returned to stock, added a bonnet lift rams, , next is fix the hole in the bonnet, and then put rear bumper on,,, then putt the body off and start the complete restore,,, new dash all gauges replaced,
it is a project engine is good, and has lots of power for a gt6 ,,, the wheels and etc are good every thing is now functional including the added heater controls,

The Weber setup and the wires are definitely high cost options. The car needs quite a bit to make it more desireable - lose the stripes, modern mirrors and fake chrome trim around the wheel wheels, get the interior back to original (including headliner) and replace the rear bumper.
I'm not sure what the seller was going for?!? The fuel cell, weber setup and lack of heater controls say race car, but wire wheels and lack of fuel cage say street car; bits of both. The hole in the bonnet makes one wonder about how much of a bodge are reflected in things that aren't visible. This strikes me then, as a project car.
The price may be high for a car that needs so much yet, but I've got that much already into mine, and I'm not near finished.

just listened to the engine on this GT6,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,walk away,,,,,,,, this is a nail!Rebuilt? I don't think so! The GT6 had a smooth, quiet engine, this one needs a doctor

the GT6 was an excellent car but this one as stated is missing the overdrive,A test drive may prove me wrong but I think it is way over priced in it's current state
