I would go with 12 pitchers and leave Boesch and Santiago both off. Ramon has not played well at all (even defensively) and I think Worth could do better. Kelly hit the ball smoking hard three times Wednesday and Boesch hasn't hit the ball hard three times in the last three months. Kelly is also way more versatile and better in all the other phases of the game. Go with both Smyly and Porcello in case Max breaks down or somebody gets bombed in the first inning.

Kelly, despite his bad batting average has to be one of the back-ups because he is their 3rd string emergency catcher, and can play all infield as well as all outfield positions and is considered a good defensive player who is also a good base runner. Boesch is having a terrible year seems to strikeout in the majority of at-bats lately, but has some power. He is a defensive liability and a poor base-runner. Worth is a back-up infielder and a decent base-runner. Kelly and worth are basically the same player, so I think the Tigers will go with Kelly and Boesch. Or they could jsut take Kelly, and go with an extra pitcher. I'd also take Smyly over Porcello.
