No. No one who had ever heard of Fars could possibly think less of it than they already did. After all, its name is "Farce." And it's even misspelled.
No. I cite to "The Onion," "Readers Digest," and Facebook status postings in all of my own work.
Yes. Before citing to "The Onion," the world had never heard of Fars. Now even the most myopic, ego-centric American teen is aware Fars exists and that it's stupid.
