When is your bike going away for the winter?

Just Taxed the 955i for the winter. I only avoid riding a classic when the salt has gone down.
Once rode a Bantam from Diss to Norwich in thick snow wearing an open face lin, pumps and wrangler jacket./jeans over a cotton t shirt with no gloves. I never saw another vehicle all the way back.
Fell off it like a poleaxed ox on arrival and was rescued by my pals who put me in a hot shower then to bed with coffee!
The things you can do when you are 22!

The Harley now tucked up till March, XJR now out full time, should hit at least 15,000 miles again for this year. Not bad at 53 years, 36 biking ones.

My bike is ready to ride all year round. I also have a car, but given a nice dry winters day I will go out for a ride. Although I will not go out if it is icy/snowing or really thick fog.

I won't put it away as such, but I'll only have it out when it's dry. I can deal with the cold, but my bike can't deal with the salt.
