What no way lauren Faust should be in the tops she is the shows creator not really a GUEST star, Weird Al or Leonard nimoy or anyone else it saddens me to see this I mean come on leonard nimoy as STARSWIRL THE BEARDED who wouldn't want that or weird al as pinkies uncleo or even Eddie Murphy as a mule (aka donkey shrek joke) with lauren you don't have the possibility that you have with the other choices bronies unite ,hasbro can do so much with these others talents

Only reason I voted for Peter Cullen is because he did the voice of the Crab Nasty Captain from MLP G1, and I freakin' loved it, so you can imagine how great it'd be to hear him come back for a role in G4. Not to mention, he has to be one of my top 5 favorite voice actors, his voice is just so awesome

Hard choice what with NPH, David Tennant, Weird Al and Lauren Faust being there. In the end my status as a hoofian was too great so I had to choose Tennant.

The absence of BRIAN BLESSED from this list is unforgivable! If BRIAN BLESSED ever gets a speaking role in Friendship is Magic, the sheer awesomeness of it will collapse into itself and form a black hole that will destroy the universe. Totally worth it.
A doctor whooves episode would be absolutely epic and even little kids would enjoy it and if they got Moffat would be the most awesome thing thing in the history of the universe.
But my second choice would have to be Lauren because after all she did make this all possible. If hasbro would just put more faith in what the team can do then it could be just a little darker and edgier which would also be good for the kids and the older audiences.
Leonard Nemoy as Star Swirl the Bearded would be the next best thing since John de Lancie as Discord.
I don't know if my shock and dismay that Nimoy isn't a runaway win is due to my age or what.... Don't get me wrong - I love Tennant as much as anyone, but his voice is not his best attribute. Gabe Newell is scoring higher, and he isn't even an actor (voice or otherwise)!

Why is Nathan Fillion not on this poll? C'mon, Mal Reynolds, aka Captain Tightpants as a pony? That would be fantastic. Plus he'd probably do it too, even if he's not a brony. Guy seems like he's got a sense of humor.

by the gods this was difficult. I chose Nimoy in the end but if I could choose multiples i'd have said Nimoy, WK and Harris. any of them being on mlp would be amazing.

I was split between David Tennant and Weird Al, but I know that Al's mentioned that he likes the show and would want to do a voice, so I went with him. I see him as being Pinkie's crazy uncle or something. Andrew W.K. would also be fun; I saw him at Canterlot Gardens and he's just an all-around cool guy.
Does Gaben even do voices? I mean, it would be hilarious and random seeing his name in the credits, but I have NO idea what they would do with him... It would be more fun to see John Patrick Lowrie, Dennis Bateman, or Gary Schwartz doing their TF2 character voices as ponies.
Kind of a similar deal with Lauren Faust. I don't think she's ever done voices. She probably could if she wanted to. Actually, I just checked, and she did a voice in something called "Home, Honey, I'm High." Well... that's... interesting?

It's probably worth pointing out that both Lauren Faust and David Tennant were nominated for *specific characters*. Lauren as the Fausticorn, and David as The Doctor.
Hub...if you're reading this, yes we want to hear these two voice characters. But giving them the specific characters we want them for is just as important. If you can make a licensing arrangement with the BBC to get David as The Doctor, you will not only make lot of happy bronies...you will MAKE HISTORY with the crossover, and t would also be an AWESOME ways to gain viewers in the european audiences. There are so many incentives to do this.
You can make it happen.

...I'll be frank. I was stuck between David Tennant and Lauren Faust.
In the end, though, I voted David Tennant.
And, to my surprise, the votes are almost a tie between the two, with Faust trailing behind by roughly six votes.
I voted Faust, but if I could pick anyone, I'd have gone with Stephen Fry. I love that man's voice.
I voted Gabe, because honestly, he is a god among men.
I do think that Lauren faust alicorn would be awesome, though!
We all know that weird al will be in one episode, I voted for Seth because the thought of seeing a pony with the voice of Brian or Peter from family guy would be hilarious. It still sucks that Morgan freeman isn't in the poll, he would of dominated with his epic voice.

I would absolutely LOVE to see Lauren Faust get a chance to voice the character fans have created for her. Queen Faust: Imagine that as an explanation for Princess Celestia not being called Queen Celestia.
Plus, I think it would be a great way to inspire her again and then she'll be a direct part of the Season 4 commentary (if that would be the season they'd put her character in).

I do not want lauren for the same reason said above and I really dont think of her as highly as I do the actually staff I mean yea she made this all possible but the staff behind her Is what really makes it what it is plus she left the show so I think she ran her course on the show and has moved on to greener pastures
David Tennant voicing the doctor. I'm pretty sure if BBC allowed it they would go with it (dedicated episode). It would bring all them Doctor Who fans over to the pony fandom.
