This is an explanation of my previous content for those who aren't part of the TMI fandom.
It's basically a quote from the fourth book, but slightly paraphrased.
TMI fans would understand.
I didn't mean to offend, only state my own opinion. I agree with both of points- I had not thought of the event in "The Titan's Curse" as manipulation, and Octavian as a ruler would be bad. However, as of "The Mark of Athena", I do feel that Reyna has fallen into the plan that Gaea set in motion. I also relate to Annabeth's personality more than I do with Reyna's. Nevertheless, Reyna is a great character, as are all characters that have made it into the top 8! :)
To Miranda:
Clary can and will take Reyna down. She has undergone Shadowhunter training, and when she has officially completed her training, she will theoretically be able to knock out a moose. Of course, she wouldn't do that--because they're endangered.
Really guys? The poll is rigged? Why would people do that? It's the same fandom for the gods sake who cares? and how do you avenge Annabeth anyways? Reyna will probably be against another PJO character anyways, and even if Annabeth had won I would have voted for Leo, or Percy over her. like Reyna and I'm glad she won, it showed me that there were more fans for her than I thought.
The important thing is if Reyna goes against Clary will everyone support Reyna? I hope so we can't lose another demigod to her. She already beat Thalia and Nico. I'm still pissed about Nico. I just don't want Clary to win, so instead of arguing about it why don't we shut up and move on? we'll be arguing over the next PJO on PJO clash soon enough.

I voted for Annabeth because I think she deserved it. Annabeth is loyal, but strong, and she wouldn't be manipulated by anyone. Reyna, although with the best intentions for her people, is too loyal to see that she's playing right into Gaea's hands. I understand that she wants peace, but she should have the strength to stand up for what is right, even if that means being rejected by the Romans.

Zoe Nightshade I'm with you there. I want to punch something whenever that clash is brought up, I spent a lot of time on that. More time actually than I'm going to spend on this because it's Wednesday and I have school, I bet most people do though or jobs.
REYNA IS WINNING! WOOP WOOP! Yeah I voted for Annabeth a few times, considered all my options and went with Reyna. I have to say Reyna has more fans than I thought I thought she would get her butt wooped, but I was wrong and I'm glad.
Reyna and Annabeth are both epic character, but you also have to consider the future in this. Percy will undoubtly be going against Clary and he WILL win I refuse to believe that he won't kick her butt. And the winner of this battle will go against Leo. If they beat Leo they will have to go against Percy. I do not want Annabeth against Percy. So that's another good reason to pick Reyna.

I would have lost my sanity in her position. Trying to lead CJ for eight months on her own while Octavian on her back sound impossible when you factor in all her duties. But look at her! She didn't give in, and she's had a pretty horrible life when you think about it. (the pirates, her whole family matter with Hylla, Jason going missing, the Romans demanding war on Greece).
In spite of how this whole matter has trashed her life, she's still trying to do what she can to help the Seven.

Annabeth is so much more epic! She's faced her worse nightmares, she held up the sky, she is probably the second-most experienced demigod out there, after Percy! *MoA SPOILER ALERT* She fell to Tartarus and WILL survive it, knowing her!*END SPOILER* She defeated Circe and has saved Percy's life more times than I can count. Well, I COULD, but my books are in boxes. :( And there were probably AT LEAST ten times outside of the books where Annabeth saved Percy's life...like in that part in MoA where we have no idea what happened to them.
Annabeth is unbeatable. Even though Reyna is new, and she seems mysterious because of it, she's just not as cool as Annabeth. I love Reyna, I really do, but I believe that Annabeth deserves this more...

Alot of people are saying what did Reyna do, what happend to her in the past, we don't know her. BUT we do. Did you forget she was kidnapped by pirates because Percy and Annabeth let the pirates go? Did you forget that Reyna didn't actually kill Percy on sight(this is actually a big contribution)? She distracted Polybotes while Percy was still comeing to the battle, FWI giants are tougher than titans. Honestly I like Reyna better, the fact that she was kick butt even after two guys turned her down it awesome, i say GO GIRL POWER!
Annabeth is cool we've known her for a while, but I just instantly liked Reyna better when I read about her. I live Reyna, but you don't see much of her. I've only seen her for about... 15 chapters max? Not even? Annabeth has been with us since the very beginning. As of right now, Reyna is (probably) attacking Camp Half Blood or at least trying to. She's practically creating another war, as if we don't have enough already. Annabeth, however, is falling into the Tartarus, trying to save the world. Really guys?

Annabeth and Reyna are both awesome in their own ways. Just vote who you want to vote. But one thing, though: don't say that you're voting for Reyna because "you feel bad for her." Like seriously? Reyna is just as epic as Annabeth, full stop. Just because we've been with Annabeth far longer and therefore have seen her epicness more than we've seen Reyna's doesn't mean a damn thing to make Reyna any less epic herself. It's true that Reyna probably couldn't have some of the things that Annabeth has. But it's also true that Annabeth probably couldn't have done some of the things that Reyna has either.
Just vote who you want to vote is that hard? And let's be thankful two characters of this book got so far. Don't compare them, BECAUSE WE'VE KNOWN ANNABETH SINCE THE PERCY JACKSON BOOKS AND WE BARELY KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT REYNA.
