It seems highly unlikely to me that there will be nations in 2100. Without nations, there can be nothing 'international', so the question should begin, "If there are still nations in 2100..."

But this seems to be so unlikely that it is not worthy of further thought.

Bob's got the gist of it, above, although I hope we humans are less ruled by an AI, and more become an AI.

    "What about anarchism?"

Perhaps in locations such as the Cayman Islands.

    What about anarchism?

... that is to say (in the event it needs explaining) one might possibly anticipate direct democracy sometime after the year 2100.

"Direct democracy could work in an ideal world with informed education secular citizens, but we know that isn't happening soon."

In that case will anticipate direct democracy in the 22nd century.

I disagree. The desired outcome is representative democracy with directly elected legislators. Republics (liberal democracies) are the best we have. Granted I prefer technocracy. Direct democracy is just mob rule. Group wants and needs which sway with time and culture. I don't trust the emotion and ignorance of the masses. Direct democracy could work in an ideal world with informed education secular citizens, but we know that isn't happening soon.

To many in our transhumanist community are Utopians (I"m not accusing you Intomorrow). The future will be much better because of science technology and medicine. We will fix many of our problems and have new complex ones to deal with. Genetic engineering and pharmacological freedom will create much healthier happier smarter humans. Side note Libertarianism appears to be getting very popular. I sympathy socially with them however it has so many flaws in the real world. It reminds me of communism. Great in theory bad in practice because they both ignore human nature.

Where is the rule by God-AI option? Only super computers and super intelligences will be able to joots into a new paradigm unattainable by human thought. Human thought and action has gone far enough. It is high time to create strong AI and let them take over.

Didn't vote on this one because as worded it is asking for prediction not desired outcome.
The desired outcome is direct democracy through electronic referenda; yet I have no idea what 2100 will be like. When first learning of transhumanism in 1989, I got a chirpy expectation of this century-- today do not know what to think.
