  It's just that she is:

  1. by far not as popular as a lot of other members (she was only able to get a little spotlight in Utaban back then)
  2. less known by fans who became fans in the recent years (since 2007/2008) as she graduated from Morning Musume more than 9 years ago, didn't do anything in H!P after that (except 2005 in PuriPuri Pink) and also only had a minor part in Afternoon Musume and Dream Morning Musume

  Kei ugly? Sorry but there is and has never been any ugly H!P member, none of the almost 160 girls. It's fine if you don't like her but uglyness is always referring to one's taste.

  I like Kei very much. Why? She is able to play several instruments and that very well, she has learned several languages in the past and one of her hobbies is photographing. She also has a very good sense of humour and she understands very well how to make someone happy and laughing. She also played her obaa-chan character very well all the time. Just that she wasn't as talented as others singing-wise and was mostly in the background (like Makoto, Konkon, Aya Ishiguro, Sayaka Ichii, Nono, Sayu and Eri in the beginning, Aika, Junjun, Linlin) doesn't mean that she is ugly.
