I am not choosing a side think about it like this. 'Maybe they both did wrong maybe melanie should have been been paying attention. And christina should not have made her remark'. Better yet maybe christina was jealous because melanie paid full attention to the other judges. And ignored christina. Maybe christina was resented and could not hold her tounge. I bet you, you would have done the same thing.

I feel that Christina is rude, unprofessional and has a lot to learn as a singer and could actually use some advice from Melanie. Christina belts all her songs and after awhile all you can listen to is one song on her album before you are given a headache. It's an amazing gift to have a loud or big voice, but when it becomes a one note performance it's rather boring. Melanie on the other hand has an interesting voice, makes you want to listen, it's curious, spontaneous and full of color, I actually listen to the lyrics. One day when life happens to Christina, she might grow a tender heart and a much more tender voice.

She was very rude to some of the contestants that were on other teams. She did the same thing to Amanda Brown more than once. Rather than saying anything productive, she would compliment the band or the set, the "behind the scenes" staff of the voice. Almost seeming to deliberately embarrass the contestants without having to specifically say anything about their performances, by using that time to talk about things other than that contestant.

What goes around comes around. My husband and I are retired, and love The Voice - except for Christina. The word "nasty" comes to mind when she reviews most young women. She is downright disgusting oggling over the sweet young boys. Melanie is a most remarkable representation of the upcoming generation, and it is apparent Christina is rabidly jealous. The big question? Why do the other judges allow her to treat their teams like that?

I think Christina has a certain style of music she prefers and doesn't feel excitement for someone who doesn't belt it out when they sing.
Christina said in an interview recently that when she hears of someone cutting her down because of something she does or something about her image, it affects her in a hurtful way. Maybe she should think about that when she is speaking to other artists. Melanie is a unique, true to herself singer and she showed America that you don't have to belt it out to be popular and make an impact. Go Melanie! :)

I felt the last few weeks Christina's comments have been out of line & just pointless towards Melanie. I felt she was Jealous just because that not her style of music and she was rocking it and was trying to rude . But really Christina you had no one from your team make it so your comments really don't deserve the attention anyway. Bummed Melanie was not picked great voice something different and great originality this young girl has, hope she releases a cd.

She was looking away at her coach cause Christina was complementing someone else for her and Adam's set design - she's 17 and didn't k ow how to respond and was looking to coach for direction. And Christina's been a rag to her for weeks. Maybe if Christina knew how to be a coach all her singers wouldn't be gone?

In my opinion Christina was the one with the problem...that was the third song in a row of Melanie's she started her critique with how great the set designer did. I was really tired of hearing it myself. Even Adam seemed tired of it when he let her know the set idea was actually Melanie's.
