I feel that when anyone has a Religious belief , belive in what you want to belive in!! Who are you to take away and not let others explore in something new? I feel this can and will do wonders for or children!
MERRY CHRISTMAS :)

Yoga is certainly more than exercise and is one of the six schools of Hindu philosophy but transcends into other religions to include Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism. It is a religious philosophy. To teach Yoga is to teach this philosophy of mind, body, and soul. If this is to be taught in school, then so should other religious forms of meditation and exercise. The Islamic religion has Sufism a similar form of meditation and exercise, Christians have Christocentric meditation, Judaism has Kabbalah, Hitbodedut, and more.
Yoga is a religious meditation, there is not excluding the religious aspect from it. If schools choose to teach it and the community supports it, then they should also allow other religious meditation and exercise techniques as well. To prevent all of them would be just as wrong to allow just one being taught.

There is a difference between being "offered" in school just like languages, music, etc. and "mandatory" courses that are required for graduation so let it be "offered".

Prayer & Meditation is a must. With all the danger these children are in, it is more than comfort. We have allowed evil for way to long. Church & State law should be repealed.
