Should the NHL reconsider bringing a team to Seattle?

Seattle area supports 2 Canadien Junior Teams WELL and the other side of the state supports 2 more, Portland to our south has 1. This type of hockey is good, and later SOME players will be NHL players from that league, , BUT....there is a major difference between junior hockey and NHL, such as, , alot better play making, alot faster and by far alot more hitting. There is nothing at all like NHL hockey. The faster the NHL gets here the better. Hockey is usually considered a cold weather winter sport, Seattle is a cold weather town in the winter....it will work here. There are a lot of people born and raised in hockey states from back east who now live in the Seattle Metro area and have for many years, waiting for the big boys to get here. People from Minn, Wis, Mich, both Dakotas, Iowa, Illinois- NY, NH, MA, ME, OH- all hockey states or states where people know their hockey.........heck, it could get bigger in Seattle then the NBA, although I'd like to see both the NBA and NHL here, but if I had to make a choice, I take the NHL for my vote. Nothing like a hard fast up and down the rink game with hard hitting, where you don't blow the whistle every 15 seconds cause someone blew on the shooters finger in the act of making a shot.

Move the Coyotes out of Phoenix and into the Great North West. Seattle would be a much better home for hockey than Arizona.

Seattle has been waiting for an NHL team for decades. As a yougster, we had the Totems of the old WHL. I have been a diehard hockey fan as long as I can remember. The Bruins teams of the late 60's and early 70's fueled my love for the game, and I have supported them for over 40 years. My hometown of Everett, Washington has had a junior team for 10 years now with a great fan base. We have made the WHL playoffs every season since joining the league, and much credit is given to the fans. The Northwest will be a great place for the NHL, I don't give a s**t what Bettman says. He won't be around when it happens hopefully. He has proven to be a cancer to the great sport of hockey and needs to get out ,sooner than later.

They definately should have a team!!! Great support for their junior team, great facilities, and a natural rivalry with Vancouver.

Sure if they don't mind a lockout now and then.
