Pam, you are absolutely correct! The good news is that the number of people who cannot get the flu shot is very small. For those of us who can get the flu shot, please do so. As a teacher, my colleagues and our students are exposed to hundreds of people every day. The last thing we want to happen is for any of us to get sick and have to miss school. Please vaccinate, if you can, and stay home if you are not well. Thanks!

No, I'm not ever going to get a flu shot because I am allergic to chicken eggs which is where the flu shot is made. No one ever talks about the people like me who CAN'T get a flu shot.
