Im from Jamaica and not one person here who has seen the ad has said anything bad about it!
We love the ad! its hilarious! We are "Out of Many One People" we have white Jamaicans, chinese Jamaicans, (black chinney is what they are referred to) and many more.
Yall need to relax and not be so uptight... Jamaicans have NO PROBLEM why should you! haha
Its a great ad and VW has done phenomenally well out here in Jamaica!

I don't think the ad is racist. I do think the ad is stupid and certainly not as hilarious as some have made it out to be. And I am a Jamaican through and through.

I am a Jamaican and I surely don't find this offensive or racist in any way. Well played on the idea of "Come To Jamaica and Feel Alright." Some people don't realized that we are our motto "Out Of Many One People," as we all see each other as Jamaicans and not black/white/chinese etc. and we have to learn to laugh at ourselves... Bless

People are acting like only Blacks live in Jamaica. Only Americans would see that commercial as racist. Jamaicans don't have those issues. As a Jamaican, I find it very funny. We do have Whites who sound the same way. We don't see each other as Whites or Backs. We see each other as Jamaican- One Love.
Americans would learn a thing or two from us
Jamaicans are not victims, so don't speak for us. We are not offended.

I am of Jamaican heritage and I think the ad is great - very funny. It is by far the best ad that VW has come up with yet. Darth Vader was good but this is better. :D

This VW advertisement is hilarious! It is not in anyway at ALL offensive/racist. It's very funny. Even ask a Jamaican if it is racist/offensive to them, they will most likely say "No, it's not racist at all"... Come on people learn to laugh!
