The Americans is my favorite new show. I'd give the pilot a strong A-, which blows away the competition. Glad Hulu is carrying the show!

For a long time now (since the final episode of The Sopranos), there has been something missing. The excitement over the next episode has returned and I find myself completely compelled with The Americans. It has it all....drama, excitement, great music and enough mystery to keep me on the edge of my seat. When Phil Collins In The Air Tonight came on, I was thrown back to another great tv series Miami Vice. Now let's give Matthew Rhys a break. I thought he was cast with extreme brilliance. Just remember back in the day when James Gandolfini was cast as Tony Soprano. I never heard of him before and know the show would not have been the same without him. The same will be said about Matthew Rhys and The Americans. I thought Keri Russell was also cast in the perfect role. She is beautiful and strong and makes the show work. I have watched the premier twice and will watch it one more time before the next episode. I look forward to many years and lots of adventures on The Americans.

Keri can do no wrong. But, maybe a stronger actor, than Matthew Rhys to portray her husband??? Wasnt feeling it from him. Show has potential and will watch for Keri Russell.
