These cars look awesome, I own an 84. They handle great and stop O.K.. The only problem is that "boat anchor", garbage 307cid. I can't believe Oldsmobile had the balls to call this engine "High Output". After purchasing my car and driving it the 45min back home, I wanted to hang myself, it was such a gutless, boring ride. One week later I pulled that piece of s**t out and installed an EFI LT4 out of my buddies wrecked 96 Vette. Mated up to a 4L60E and the factory 3:73 posi, this car now earned the right to be called 'High Output". With some more suspension mods, full stainless 2 1/2" dual exhaust and some rear disc brakes, this 84 now performs the way Hurst Intended it to. DON'T WORRY YOU ''PURISTS'', I KEPT THE 307 JUST IN CASE YOU OR MY GRANDMA WANT TO PURCHASE THE CAR...THAT IS , IF I EVER SELL IT!

This car is disgusting! Hursters are without a doubt sacred! My father owned an Olds dealership in Chicago for years and being the son, I have owned every year of these creatures. It is blasphemy to change this car in ANY WAY!!!!!
