Crystal is always fun, but I also think Ellen DeGeneres would be fabulous.....I would even like to see Whoopie back!

Really sorry to hear Seth M doesn't want to return. Hubby and I are in the over 65 crowd and the oscars are usually boring to us.
We taped it and stayed up till 2:30 am It was grreat! We loved his singing and the numbers at the beginning were the best part of the show!! Guess Jimmy Fallon might be good if Seth won't come back. Crystal is too old.

I thought Seth did a great job but if he won't be back, I would love to see Jerry O' Connell give it a whirl. Love him!!!! Always love Billy Crystal as well but am thinking he wants to just watch now instead of working it.

I thought Seth did an excellent job hosting the Academy Awards. I am over the 18-49 age bracket and found him to be VERY funny and was not the least bit offended by anything he said or did. He is a comedian and a very good one at that. Would love to see him again next year.

seem to have a knack for making it entertaining.

I really enjoyed Seth McFarlane too. I normally hate these kind of shows and I was totally entertained instead of bored. The Golden Globe hosts annoyed me, I felt like I had tuned into the wit of a suburban high school- but I guess if you didn't grow up with girls who behaved that way it might be entertaining after age 15.. dunno.. I would look forward to the Oscar's if the mad cap cool of Seth McFarlane was featured--and I don't even like Family Guy.

I really enjoyed Seth McFarlane and think Ellen could also do a great job...but I'd like to see what Jimmy Fallon would do with as host of the Oscars.
If only the host could be someone less famous! The funniest and quickest wit I can think of is Josh Robert Thompson, the awesome comedian who voices Craig Ferguson's robot sidekick. He improvises the funniest parts of that show - on a nightly basis! He'd probably be the best host ever!!

I will say it every year, billy crystal always does the best when it comes to hosting this show. He has done it since I was a kid and should always do it. Keep it coming Billy Crystal!

Ellen DeGeneres is my first choice --- but also love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Need someone who will be funny --- multi-talented is nice --- AND --- most importantly, who will tell jokes without be rude and crude. Who wrote Seth MacFarlane's jokes? Most were rude and NOT FUNNY!!!
