Why is there no Animator option?
I'm mostly an artist, but I also help in the campaign against extremist anti-bronies on deviantART.
I'm a forum moderator, writer/storyboarder for an animated series (in production), and I write fics on occasion too.

I made a couple of PMVs, so I chose video. But those were all done about a year ago. I guess I am more of a Random pony fan now.
I'd like to think about myself as a translator. I'm translating fanfics from English into Russian. Though, a hadn't yet finished anything... I think it's mostly because I started with Fallout: Equestria... :/

I guess I'm more a random fan since my involvement in the fandom tends to be rather smallish. I've done a few pony related drawings and I've done reviews of the episodes, but the former I'm not really prolific at and the latter I can't do without new episodes. And then I do a whole bunch of other non-pony stuff, too, so I guess random fan who occasionally writes and does art on pony is about as good as I can say.
Although I'm a musician for another franchise with an insane internet-centric fanbase, I have yet to do any pony music. Another Random Pony Fan reporting in.

While I'm going to go with 'musician' (as my orchestral music is the stuff that seems most prominent), I'm also a coder in the sense of working on a pony game and also (to a much lesser extent) an artist.

Heh, no surprise that the "Random Pony Fan" has this poll in the bag. I am however intrigued that "Writer" is actually nipping the heels of "Artist" as of this moment. I voted "Writer" because that's what I spend the most time doing; but I've illustrated my stories, coded my own website, and made a few crazy pony videos, so it's too bad I'm limited to just one choice. Not gonna lie, I was tempted to hit "Random Pony Fan" as it seemed to encapsulate an "All of the Above" option. Hey, that's what this poll needs!!
I guess the only thing on there I *haven't* done is host my own show or make my own music. Unless you count my random live streams and the extended remixes of songs I've made to use as background music for my stories..

I said "Other" because I, like a few others I can think of, am not necessarily a strong content creator, but I do comment in a lot of places and I seem to have a higher-than-normal visibility in this fandom.

Writer for a bit last year but I psyched myself out and read many a book on writing to see if I could improve. The result was not much writing done but sometimes I act as an editor for other people's stories, so I chose Other.

Well let's see...I'm not an writer, not an artist, nor an coder, not an video maker or musican or show host and everything else...just an random pony fan...one who's been in the fandom since December 2010 that is...and is very knowledgeable about a bunch of pony stuff...and loves to help new bronies who just joined the herd and become friends! Still I'm an ol' random pony fan hehe and I'm okie doki ok with that! =D
I rarely make pony art...the exception being made my Desu Fluttershy Pic and a Pinkie/Fluttershy birthday card for my best friend Adam Szelfer (Borimor Smith) on google+!
Also I know how to code in HTML...yeah that doesn't count haha.

I would count under both writer and artist, but I admin the MLP Wikia and write the transcripts for them, so I'm more under Other.

Well, I am a musician, but I don't write brony music. I write music with my band, but not pony music. Perhaps I should put some of my talent to work and make some independent brony music of some sort. Maybe someday I'll be as famous as Tombstone (the best strategy for success is to not rule out the possibility of extreme success)!
More people in the fandom know me as an artist and not a musician, even though I consider myself more of a musician since I had to force myself to learn to draw (not a natural "talent") :/
