The Large Sugary Drinks Ban...

When one takes into account the harmful substances in "diet" rather than "regular" coke, one will see that regular is actually better. Aspartame has over 92 different deadly side effects that the FDA still denies. proof is in the pudding.

Since we do live in "America," it should be the freedom of choice for the consumer. Aside from this, Chicago is far fatter than NY and yet there aren't bans. There is also gun control, which seemingly doesn't work.

    Food for thought.

It is as american as apple pie to want MORE. Guess what? Bloomberg, the human being, is as big a slob as anyone else. Don't elevate these do gooders to any special status

Let freedom ring, Norm and Nanny Bloomberg...diet sodas are exempt from the 32oz ban with all the "bad" chemicals used to make it calorie free (not to mention its link to cancer)...really? Slippery slope, boys...slippery slope. Don't you two subscribe to the idea of "choice"...it's my body and i can choose what i do with it!! Or is choice limited only to abortion? Stay out of my life...you oppressive jerks!

This is a great move by Mayor Bloomberg. It will cut the millions of New Yorkers who die of diabetes and cancer each year caused by these sodas. President Obama needs to consider a nationwide ban.
