How Do You Prefer to Grocery Shop Gluten-Free?

I agree with Barbara and Joyce - I want all the GF stuff in one place and one freezer area. One of the chain stores which I frequent have GF with like products (non GF) and another have most of them located in the health food section - BUT, not all of them. It's really bothersome running around the store, especially when "they" change the product's location. I especially dislike the same chain (Publix) having their GF products located differently in different stores.

I agree with Samantha - Some of my store items are in organic section and some are with like products. When I shop I am shopping for the whole family and for all of my supplies, so perfer they be grouped with like minded products.

Please put all gluten free food in one section, and the Manufacturer is responsible for marking the product well enough for all to see, so no stress on the stock people. Please do not tease me by making me walk and look at all the foods I used to eat, and tempt me like that. Just put all the GF food in one area.

I prefer gluten free products to be in one area. It saves time when shopping.

My vote was to group in GF/Health Food Section - BUT, I can and do understand how very difficult this would be to properly train stockers to perform this task. Time is money and in the long run of it all, it is "our" problem to deal with .... and not their problem to make life less complex for us. What we want is seldom what is the wisest thing in the "overall" picture of situation. I believe the question should be addressed to Grocery Managers to answer and see their replies and their ability (or non ability) to do this.
Even we people on GF diets have troubles sometimes finding a GF trademark on a product....and forget the idea that a stocker would have time to read ingrident labels and understand the many things that make something NON Gluten Free! It's not an easy task! Would we take a stocker's opinion anyway? Nope...I don't think so.

Much prefer shopping where all gluten free, dairy free, et al stuff is grouped together. Cross contamination is a huge problem when products are mixed. Celiac since 2008, enhanced marsh I lesions since 2012.

If everything was in one area it would be nice. Even when stores have aG/F some brands keep there own area and are hard to find.

I wish stores would state how they group their items and then stick to it. I think my local grocer is experimenting now. We have a specialty section and they have moved certain items (e.g. the Mueller's GF pasta was there, now it is in the regular pasta section) No note...it disappeared and I happened to think to look in the regular pasta section...and behold, there it was.
