I loved Rachel and Ross but they spent too much of the series apart.
Marshall and Lily have been together almost the entire running of HIMYM and they aren't boring or stale or anything like that, even without the "will they won't they" dramatics they manage to be smart, loving, entertaining and a great team.
The ending for Rachel and Ross was great, but the entirety of Marshall and Lily is what makes them the more enduring and more loving couple.
Marshall and Lily for the win. They are the epitome of an amazing love story. Ross and Rachel were silly, selfish, and hardly together for even a third of the series. I'm a huge Friends fan but Ross and Rachel were a terrible couple with entertaining stories.
What the?? Why is HIMYM in the lead?!! They're an adorable couple but they can't possibly compare to Rachel and Ross!!
I have no idea how HIMYM would ever beat Friends in this category or ANY category for that matter. Ross and Rachel ALL THE WAY!
I love me some HIMYM, but if they beat Ross and Rachel I would be shocked and think this polling got it wrong.
