I love The Doctor (especially Nine) and Rose! But poor Ricky and Lucy... can't believe they got smoked!
The article on the doctor and rose is lovely, expect for one key point. The Doctor who ends up staying behind with Rose isn't 'almost him' it IS him. It just happened that way, the ONLY difference at all is that he can now age like a human, otherwise same mind/personality/feelings/memories/brain/soul/foot size/etc. In fact it's been stated by the cast and crew a couple of times now, it's even been said the some offcial bbc dw guides/websites and staff.
Just sayin'. I know a lot of people don't know this (and most of them don't believe it to be true because of that.), but it's 100% canon.
