As to who is a person's Doctor, it depends on when they got into the show. For me, my first taste of the show was in 1982, watching Pyramids of Mars on my local PBS station. It got me into the show, collecting the novelizations, reading up on it, not only being a fan, but a knowledgeable fan for the classic era.
