I get cold chills to think that these turbines will be on our beautiful ridges. These Turbines will cause deforestation,displace wildlife,kill our Eagles and other birds of prey,also the construction will disturb the bedrock and stop the flow of water to our underground springs and well waters , streams and creek beds . People need to do their research. Most people have only seen pictures of these Turbines on flat land out west. There are already thousands and thousands . They only produce about 1% of the total energy in the U.S. go to my Facebook page for pictures. The valleys are known for there echoes I cringe to think of hearing the sound of these Turbines multiplied by the natural echo. Alabama will not benefit just the greedy landowners and the company Pioneer Green they only announced their plan becaus if they start construction in 2013 they will get tax credits and subsidies from the government. There has been wind research and Alabama's wind velocity is not sustainable to generate profitable energy. People that are so quick to say yes should research
