Which season of NBC's 'Smash' was better?

Smash Season 2 was terrible. I can watch Season 1 over and over. So many terrible plot points in Season 2: Karen sleeping with a drug addict? Two low-lifes in a bar magically ge their show produced (Hit List)? Jerry somehow gets his hooks into Bombshell? Viewers who watched season 1 obviously like "traditional" Broadway like Bombshell and not "Rock/Screaming" broadway like Hit List.

The biggest shame is that all that fantastic music that was written for Bombshell now fades off into oblivion.

Oh, Iom sorry, but I'm a very big big fan of Broadway and "classic" musical, but I have to say that not everybody is like that, so bringing Hit List in it was a great idea, because pop and rock are not "on the top" of the list, so I think that that should brought more viewers to it, but I'm so sad that it did not. And it's not my problem or ours that Theresa left the show. I think that she is an amazing writer and I love her work with season 1, and I was willing to see what she would done with season 2, but then she left? Because she has other things to do? ok, but the show got amazing in season two in my view I love Hit List and seeing Megan-Ivy as Marilyn and that just my point of view on Theresa's seeing the second season :)

Agreed. Get rid of raunchy reality shows and keep Smash on the air. Great cast, wonderfully talented musicians and performers... Please some network please pick this show up and keep it going!

NBC inept, AGAIN???? NBC network should be cancelled. Program and Executives need to be replaced. Bring on the Cable for SMASH-Bravo or AMC who could keep this series going. A dream cast, great music. Smash was so refreshing and classy. Tired of Reality shows-same characters every season with the same script.
