I agree drunk driving is wrong but i also know many police officers who drink profusely and drive on a frequent basis. These officers are not held to the same laws as regular citizens due to their brotherly code. I feel if everyone was penalized the same then i would agree with this legislation

Any alcohol is too much when you drive.

I completely agree; People shouldn't get behind the wheel at all after consuming any drinks... Not only should the legal limit be lowered, but the fines & costs should be higher & the punishment should be more harsh. If you cannot afford a taxi or public transportation; then you shouldn't drink the beer.. Plain & Simple there are so many people on the road at all different hours... You endanger every person you drive past when you get behind the wheel drunk.

Doesn't matter what the alcohol level is, if you've been drinking and are stopped because of erratic dangerous driving, AND have ANY alcohol in your system (or anything else that impairs your driving), you should be held accountable. There are people who should not be driving for many reasons. Alcohol is not the only reason why people cause accidents.
