What grade do you give the 'Supernatural' Season 8 finale?

I was very pleased to find at the end of this episode, I was literally angry that there was no more for the Summer. That last shot at Sam and Dean's level, looking up and cutting between them and Castiel's horrified realization, while thousands of angels fell to earth, their wings and halos burning up upon re entry, was brilliant, breathtaking, horrifying, epic, and just where this show needed to take the overlying arc that comprises the bridge from season 8 into what I can only assume will be a "For the Ages" season 9. The topics of the show hit at our collective underlying sentiments toward God, Angels, and the mythos of fear and dominance taught to many as children. Bravo, guys. Big leap forward, and I want to say as a fellow writer, that you are "Killing It, Bloody..." in a very good way.
