Route A: to Beachy Head which is a 43 mile round trip along the A259 and back would take two and a half hours!

Route B: to Rottingdean is just under 10 mile round trip along the A259 and back will take 40 mins!

Apparently it's going to be to the Smugglers Arms in Telscombe Cliffs (Peacehaven). Result - I live opposite
