Bankruptcy can stay on your credit report for up to 10 years. Do you think it's ever worth it to file for bankruptcy?

I do, if someone's debt is terrible and there's no chance they could pay it off.

No, I would never want to file bankruptcy and try to avoid it at all costs.

It would never be "worth it", but I can understand why someone would do it.
