I think that it sometimes works in their favor. I was once at a meeting where there was a pretty young woman there that was asking the most basic questions. It was obvious to me that her appearance worked in her favor. I started calling her the blonde bimbo because she certainly didn't know what she was doing. Haven't ever seen her again.
